Jab Tak Hai Jaan made a good business of about 5.25 Crores as per early estimates on its 1st Monday at the domestic box office. The movie has collected about 86.25 Crores nett so far.

For those curious about JTHJ's fate reaching the 100 crore mark, here's a good news! The movie have quite a few possibilities to enter the 100 Crore Club in its 1st extended week or max another couple of days.

Though all the theaters in Maharashtra finally opened on Monday, business was still on the lower side. Collections remained steady in some multiplexes but mass belts held to the lower levels. The collections might see some spike on Tuesday due to Maharashtra stabilizing. Jab Tak Hai Jaan, it seems will not prove to be a record breaking venture anymore.

Son of Sardaar 1st Monday Box Office Collections

Son Of Sardaar made about 5.51 Crores as per early estimates at the domestic box office. The Ajay Devgn starrer now stands at a domestic box office total of 69.56 Crores. The competition with Jab Tak Hai Jaan is definitely taking its toll on both the biggies, the result being neither could live up to the hype.

The movie remained on the lower levels in Maharashtra circuit and is expected to recover by today. Mass circuits were pretty steady with Rajasthan, Bihar and CI doing pretty well. Tuesday numbers are expected to be better due to better numbers coming from the Mumbai circuit.

BI: JTHJ probably lost around a lot more than SOS on the weekend. JTHJ was doing well in Maharashtra and Delhi. Apart from Maharashtra bandh which effected collections on Wed, Thu, Sat and Sun the Wave cinema multiplex chain was closed in North India since Saturday due to Ponty Chadha's death. I think it reopened only today.

So I finally managed to watch the whole film spanning across three days,part by part.😆I am not exaggerating, I really got a headache after the film finished.The film is complete nonsense.Such a shitty storyline,who writes such an amateurish story? The amnesia part was idiotic and the way SRK regains his memory is cringe worthy .🥱

Coming to the performances,it was weird to see on one hand Katrina,with just one expression on her face and Anushka on the other hand with so many expressions on her face that she made the character of Akira so bloody over the top.Deja Vu of Shruti Kakkar?Yes!😵And though Katrina is a fab dancer and she was awesome in the Ishq Dance bit but can the girl take some course in acting and dialogue delivery?10 years in the industry,high time she gets the hindi accent right!..Mere ankhon mein aankhen dal kar..kaunsa dal..moong dal ya masoor dal?..So boring was her chemistry with SRK,though I hated Akira but still I found her scenes with SRK much better compared to Samar and Meera.SRK was good in some parts but its high time someone makes him realize...strumming a guitar and tossing a hat on your head does not make you look young!What a pathetic sight to see him romancing and kissing an actress much younger than him,it really reminds me of Mary Kate Olsen and her boyfriend.

Complete f**ked up story.Faltu music,not even a single song looks good onscreen and the Challa and Heer songs don't even match SRK's and Katrina's voice.A BIG letdown by AR Rehman.

Leaving all the emotions and respect aside,Yash Chopra's swan song is a big fail.
