This seems to be an imaginary track. Goddess Meenakshi of Madurai's story is different then the one given in this article.

they better change the name of the character or people are going to get really confused

btw isnt Meenaxi supposed to be a name of Parvati,infact its one of Parvatis avatars isnt it?
