Hello all' I am Nakuul Mehta, currently playing the role of Aditya, the lead actor in Star Plus's Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara.

Born and brought up in Udaipur, Rajasthan, I currently stay in Mumbai with my parents. Please don't laugh at the fact that I have changed as many as 10 schools in my life. I completed my last 3 years (8th, 9th and 10th) from Jamnabai Narsee School and later completed my college from NM (Narsee Monjee) College of Commerce.

Now, let me tell you'll as to how I started my career. From my childhood, I wanted to see myself as an actor or do something in television being always active in dramatics and theatre.

In my initial years, I also did modeling and many advertisements for several brands. But the one that is very close to me is Clinic All Clear ad which I did with none other than Shah Rukh Khan. I have also done many music videos and have learnt many dance forms like jazz, hip hop, salsa and contemporary, among many others.

Thereafter, there was no looking back for me. I did my first big screen debut in the film Haal'e'dil. Later, I also did a Spanish romantic comedy film Flamenco opposite Monica Cruz, sister of Hollywood actress Penelope Cruz. Both the films were different and very challenging. I have always tried to reflect my versatility. And now, I am part of Pyaar Ka Dard Hai'

My journey till date has neither been too easy, nor too difficult. But I am happy that I have worked with many biggies at this age. I have worked really hard and have always been one with a positive attitude. I think struggle is a part of life and I enjoy that.

On the personal front, I am sporting kind of a person. I like playing tennis and cricket. In fact, I prefer watching game shows like KBC. I also like to run on beaches and have a nice relaxing time with my pals.

I had many joyful moments in my life but one which is very close to me is when I proposed my girlfriend Jankee, who is now my wife.

So with this kind of journey behind me, I hope to see a shinny future. All thanks to my parents and well wishers for their prayers and blessings.
