"Tumne humara dil thod diya..."

Without a doubt, today's episode of Dekha Ek Khwaab was one of the best episodes for me. Whether it was Manyata's feverish prayers and her determination, Unnati's pain, and of course the song sequence. However nothing beat that last scene. Those words that came out of Uday's mouth...I realized that it was the first time..the first time Manyata truly understood her mistakes. The first time she truly understood UDAY. Up until now, everything Manyata has done, all the fights she has fought were not only for Uday. They were for herself too. She always wanted to prove her innocence, her love for him...she never really understood his pain. Just like she never understood his love.

Today I feel like everything changed in those last five minutes. For the first time Manyata understood what she did to him. For the first time she understood that it isn't about her. It's all about him! He believed in her, he sacrificed his ego for her, he let her go, he loved her! And she has rejected him at every step.

Finally...finally Manyata will not fight to prove her innocence but instead fight everything for his happiness. Her love will finally be selfless.

You are absolutely right. Up until now, Manyata only thought about herself, even when it came winning Uday's love. But she never understood the pain that Uday was going through. And today when she heard Uday saying that he wished he had never met her and fallen in love with her, the pain on her face was clear indication that now she has finally realized what a big mistake she has made and to what extent she has hurt Uday. That entire scene with flashbacks was so emotional. I nearly had tears in my eyes. And to top it all, the show is ending. Sigh. These two have been through so much. Manyata feeling Uday's pain was her final test in love and now she has to do all that she can to heal the wounds she gave to her heart.

Wonderful post Ranjana. I completely agree with you. It was truely a great episode. I'm feeling bad for manayta and uday both.

We're getting all these emotionally beautiful episodes in the last days..but i refuse to let myself get sad and instead enjoy DEK until the last second! 😊

And really after watching the precap im even more excited..To be honest I feel like Manyata's real realization has just begun and that "Tujhe Mein Rab Dikhta Hain"...😍

I was also gettign way too teary watching DEK, but at the same time wasn't it so satisfying? Seeing Manyata take care of UV, everything was just too amazing! 😳

You know I had all these hopes of what I wanted to see happen before the show ended but now after watchign the precap im already satisfied! Really the most important thing is and has always been that Manyata sees God in UV..despite all his flaws/dark sides..It's all so beautiful! Like honestly I dont even want to see her whining and trying to justify herself to him anymore. I just want to see her pure devotion to him and by the looks of the precap, we will have it. 😊
