Hello fellow JDJ'ians!
Sorry for the delay again, but here we go with the update!
Manish and Ragini come out to introduce the remaining contestants who will come out to perform their 'Dance Attack'. Ragini also mentions that there will be a special surprise from Madhuri today. (Manish dressed in a red velvet coat and Ragini in a weird blue and purple dress )
They introduce the judges: Remo in grey and brown suit, Madhuri in a beautiful gold ensemble, and Karan in his usual black suit.
First Performance: Darsheel and Avneet
Style: Samba
Song; Character Dheela
Manish's cell phone rings and someone on the line pretends to ask for Darsheel and Manish in his humerous style tells the guy to bug off. Manish says now a days everyone is a fan of Darsheel including the judges. AV is shown of Darsheel and Avneet practicing. Darsheel talking about the difficulties he faced in learning this style. He says how he has dropped Avneet so many times already and they show both of them falling. Darsheel also mentions how he has injuries from where Avneet sits on his knee but he controls it because he is a man.
The duo come out for their performance in pink and white ensembles, looking very nice. Very good energy in the song and both were really enjoying it. They seemed to be losing their connection in some places but lots of masti in the song so very entertaining. Expressions were great as well. Towards the end Darsheel went to the judges desk and interacted with Karan a bit but on his way back he fell but continued right on. Overall a great fun act. Both looked very cute!
Judges Comments:
Karan comes and gives them a hug and says the expressions were great and both really enjoyed the performance. Karan also says their chemistry seems to be great and him and Avneet must be becoming good friends and both look fantastic together.
Madhuri says good things come in small packages and Darsheel is her chota packet now. She says both were fantastic and espeically their expressions. She says they look like cupcake with icing and cake.
Remo says this was a bollywood tadka on samba. Remo says samba is about creating a celebration which they did. Remo says in this performance Avneet was a little bit above Darsheel because of her postures and all. But Remo compliments Darsheel on getting up after he fell and continuing onwards.
The two go up to Hawa Mahel where Manish cracks a joke that at their age most kids only know about sambar but he knows samba, and most kids only their naala (tie belt in pants) gets dheela (Loose) but Darsheel's whole character is dheela 😆 Manish tells him that imagine his character is dheela then which of the girl contestants would he choose. Darsheel says any girl but Avneet and when Manish probes him to choose one he says Nishant (Gia's partner). Manish says his character is TOO dheela 😆 Manish asks judges to give scores.

Second Performance: Jayati and Diwakar
Style: Tandav
Song;
Manish introduces the next act to be about Shiv and Shakti and tandav. We see an AV of Diwakar and Jayati practicing. Diwakar says that he always tries to use Jayati's expressions in his act.
Both are dressed in purple/black ensembles. Very strong and fierce act. Lots of very difficult lifts. Their expressions were no doubt fierce but I found Jayati ji's expressions to be a little too over the top in my opinion. Towards the end the rubbed red powder all over their face and Jayati did a powerful scream at the end. No doubt a tough and fierce act.
Judges Comments:
Remo says bringing that aggression and fierceness in an act is difficult so hats off to them for doing it. He says taking this challenge in itself is tough and its a great spirit of hers. He especially liked the lift they did where Diwakar lifted Jayati and she was still moving her head up and down as she was in the air. He says the only down point was in the beginning where she forgot some steps
Madhuri compliments them on the consistency in energy and says she was very impressed.
Karan says it takes a lot of passion to come to this stage and performance this kind of performance. He says that scream at the end came from inside her and that shows she was 100% involved in this act. Karan also compliments Diwakar on managing to lift Diwakar.

Third Performance: Pratusha and Deepak
Style: Contemporary
Song; Tujhse hai koi Raasta
Ragini introduces Pratyusha by doing a tragedy act imitation in soap style. She says Pratyusha has what no one else has: Deepak. 😆 AV is shown of Pratyusha saying how last time she messed up the lift and her confidence was shaken but this time she is going from delicate darling to hardcore.
The two come out in sky blue colored body suit type costumes with red work. Very sweet and light performance. Lots of nice lifts and Pratyusha seemed determined to do well and also confident this time around.
After they finish Manish starts crying saying what a beautiful performance. Remo asks why he is crying and Manish says because last time Pratyusha cried so he is contuining the trend.
Judges Comments:
Remo says until now it seemed like Deepak was leading the performances but now Pratyusha seems to be coming onto her own. He tells he to bring more energy and extend more, especially for a contemporary style.
Madhuri tells her that she is very graceful and their performance was flowing like water. Madhuri says next time she wants to see fire and see the competitor spirit in her.
Karan says he agrees that their energy level was indeed low but for this performance that was ok as it was required to be light and flowy. He compliments Deepaks choreography and tells Pratyusha to learn how to be fierce from Jayati

Fourth Performance: Jai Suria and Suchitra
Style: Salsa
Song; Twist (love aaj kal)
Manish wonders what is salsa and Isha, Archana, and Shibani show him. He gets excited and then comes to Jai Suria who very convincingly says 'I will show you Salsa' 😉
They come out with Suchitra in a blue dress and Jai in a black suit. Suchitra was very good but Jai Suria didnt do much... except he did lift her well and did the snake step well also. 😆
Judges Comments:
Madhuri compliments their pairing because she says Suchitra smartly choreographs the act so Jai doesnt have to do too much 😉 She says she liked the snake step also. She says the competition is heating up and they want to see him in that energy.
Karan says just for him to be here is a great thing but now that competition is heating up they have to be serious about the dancing and he frankly did not do much dance.
Remo says he tried basic salsa and most of the time Suchitra did everything and Suria supported her.
Remo says he doesnt know when he'll get a chance to play cricket with Jai Suria so he would like to do the naagin step with him at least. All the judges come on stage and do the naagin step with him 😆
When the two go to Hawa Mahel... all the contestants do naagin step with them. Manish asks Jai how he feels after the scores and Jai Suria says he didnt practice enough this time and didnt do as well. He says he will do more training next time.

Fifth Performance: Isha and Salman
Style: Pasa Dablo
Song; Hai Rama Yeh Kya Hua
AV is shown where Isha says they have worked even harder this week as they dont want people to think that just because they got highest marks last week they have taken it for granted.
The two come out in red and black ensembles. Salman starts off as the bullfighter and does a bit of a solo initially and Isha comes in as the bull and the two dance. Lots of amazing lifts and Isha used her flexibility to the max. Very fierce act and great expressions. Definitely a great performance.
After the performance Manish says this is the first time he feels like saying 'Aa Bell mujhe maar' (Come bull, hit me) 😆
Judges Comments:
Karan says he is speechless and really compliments Salman for his choreography and presentation each time for all the acts. He says it was breathtaking and this is the standard they need to maintain.
Remo mentions how during a bull fight they always maintain eye contact and the bull and matador never notice anything else except each other. He compliments the duo on incorporating that into their dance where even when Isha was at another step she was still looking at Salman out of the corner of her eye and Remo says its that attention to detail.
Madhuri compliments them for maintaining that feel throughout the act.
Remo and Madhuri give them a This is It and a Peeerfect 👏

Madhuri comes out and performs the step of the week to the Kay Sera Sera song. Short simple step but she looked graceful as ever 😳
