Oh my god..it was so difficult to get these two to patch up..
"ab kya karen?" , khushi asked, a worried look on her face
"what?", Arnav said busily setting his tie..
"di aur jijaji phir se baat nahi kar rahe"
"toh kaunsi nayi baat hai?"
"haan, par bich me toh hum phans jate hain na!!"she said helping him with the coat..
"that's your choice khushi!!"
It had been 3 months since Anjali's remarriage to Danish Malhotra, and the two had taken the entire Raizada family to a storm since then. As if Arnav and Khushi were not enough ,there was another 'can kill each other' couple in the house... a couple which was often teased as 'AnDa' which made Anjali go mad to a very great extent..
Danish Malhotra, aka the managing director of Malhotra group of companies, and the newest addition to the Raizada family... There's had been a marriage after a long episode of meets, fights, and of course lots of 'situations' all planned by the master mind of khushi kumari gupta singh raizada,accompanied by a husband doing an overdose of "what the.." , the two because of who Anjali was a very well settled and happily married( or remarried) woman today..
but Danish and Anjali fought with the same frequency as Arnav and Khushi and very frequently the door of the Raizada mansion would fly open with an Anjali carrying a suitcase declaring she would never go back to that house again!
Then they would all patiently wait for the door to fly open again at 6:00 pm in the evening with a very huffed puffed Danish making his way to Anjali's room
Then they would all wait for half an hour till the door was opened and two smiling people made their way out..
then khushi and paayal would convince them to have dinner..they would exchange greetings and call it a day.
Danish and Arnav shared a very warm relationship because they understood each other so well...and, because they were both businessmen. Khushi and Anjali would often pick the house on their heads because when the two were together, they never stopped talking about business, and had to be torn apart from each other or each other's laptops.
Khushi and Danish shared the perfect brother sister relationship and Khushi had developed this new habit of shouting "JEEEJAAAJIII!!" whenever Arnav charged angrily at her which resulted in two very dear jijaji's of her's rushing to her rescue, one who was sadly silenced by Arnav with an eyebrow raise and a slant "AAKASH?" , the other who very tactfully silenced Arnav..
Likewise to anjali, very often, Khushi, very expertly having picked up the trait, would pick up her bag, announce she was leaving RM and rush away to Malhotra house to a very understanding Anjali, and the entire Danish episode was carried out with Arnav as the lead, with a difference that when the door opened after half an hour, a teeth grinding Arnav would be storming out of the house with a "JEEEJAAAJIII" screaming khushi..
Now, Danish and Arnav had perfect understanding on this. When Anjali would come to RM,Arnav would leave an sms to Danish "sis of ASR home" and when Khushi did the same, Danish would send one to Arnav "sis of DM home"
while two wondering ladies pondered who on earth informed their respective husbands so soon..
Paayal and Aakash were two people who still tried best to keep the house sane..
On Raksha Bandhan's khushi would get extremely flustered , since suddenly after having no brothers she had two,then later she would pick up the gifts go before Arnav and pathetically show off what Danish and Aakash bought her, while Arnav rolled his eyes..
this continued till Arnav had to buy something to shut her up, which he gave her only after he had made her clearly say that 'this was in no way connected to raksha bandhan'. At times khushi would refuse and Arnav would go mad..
Lakshmi for one had found after a 3 year effort her perfect place in the house. Arnav's couch. Arnav had strict opposition to her choice which would frequently result in loud 'MAI MAI'S' and 'JUST SHUT UP AND LEAVE THE DAMN COUCH!" from Arnav's room..
Khushi had tried suggesting alternatives to Laxmi, but she refused to give in so she started giving alternatives to Arnav. And then she stopped interfering in the matter all together
The Raizada parivaar was one happy crazy and left the past behind family. With two crazy couples, one ever calm couple, the usual mami mama duo, and of course Nani with her lovable Laxmi...
what could be better..😊😊
