The scene starts where it ended yesterday, when Udhav & Savitri joined Krishna & Sudama.  Krishna asks Udhav whether Sudama looks royal in these robes, & Udhav agrees.  Udhav asks if he can have a private audience w/ Krishna, and Krishna asks him to join them in donating wealth to the citizens.  Udhav declines, and asks if he can talk to him.  Krishna asks him to wait until after the meeting w/ his subjects.  He invites Sudama to join him in donating the alms.

At the fairgrounds, Krishna is donating wealth to citizens, and then asks Sudama to start donating as well.  Sudama is at first hesitant, since he is himself a beggar, but Krishna tells him about the virtues of donating wealth.  Thus prompted, Sudama does as instructed and starts giving the items to people.  One of the ladies he gives to remarks that he must be a king.  Sudama denies it, but the woman says that anyone who's a friend of Krishna must be a king πŸ˜•  (Lady, this is Krishna, not Drupad!)

Later, when Sudama is returning to the palace, he runs into Udhav & Savitri, and greets them.  Udhav too initially reciprocates, and then Sudama, in a rather facetious tone, asks Udhav whether he'd like to go to Gokul again?  Udhav now loses it and tells Sudama that he's learned his lesson about love, but has Sudama learned anything @ all?  He asks Sudama whether simply by wearing such royal robes, his identity as a beggar is gone? 😑  He continues that Sudama is incapable of devoting himself to a life of karma & dharma and instead of working for his family, simply dwells on the lord and accepts Krishna's gifts.  Savitri protests to Udhav that he's insulting Sudama, but Udhav tells her that Sudama is incapable of distinguishing b/w honor & dishonor 😑  He tells Sudama that the latter insults the concept of both bhakti & friendship, and that a true bhakt just surrenders himself to the Lord w/o asking or expecting anything in return.  He tells Sudama that he's incapable of earning 2 square meals a day for his kids, and challenges him to actually stand on his own feet instead of using the Lord as a crutch.  Sudama mutters Jai Shri Krishna, and Udhav challenges him to go to the shrine and ask for whatever he needs.  Savitri begs him to stop again, and Sudama leaves.

Later, Sudama is @ the shrine and begs forgiveness from Krishna for leaving.  He changes badk to his rags, and Krishna, who's in his own chamber meditating, looks disturbed.  After changing, Sudama goes to the statue that he'd made, and w/ tears in his eyes, asks for permission to leave.

Krishna in his chamber wakes up & asks Jambavati whether she had seen Sudama.  She tells him that he must be in his room.  Krishna dwells some more while Sudama tells his statue that he'll leave.  Krishna then gets up and asks Jambavati the same question.  She asks him what is the matter?  The episode ends.

Comments:  As usual, I found the characterization of Udhav pretty outrageous, although anyone by now knows that that's par for the course for the Sagars.  Particularly when Udhav saw Krishna himself insist that Sudama do all the things he did, him accusing Sudama of trying to ride on Krishna's coattails was totally slanderous.  Even when he would meditate on Krishna, Sudama never asked for anything, and had everything he had due to Krishna voluntarily giving it to him.  Only thing that Udhav was right about was Sudama not trying to provide for his family, but that would have been a valid accusation earlier, when Sudama only begged for his living.  What was Udhav trying to say here - that Sudama should revert to begging?

thanks for the update😊
one lesson was enough for Savitri bhabi... she's right on track...πŸ˜†
but agree wid u... Uddhav heard Krishna insisting Sudama on wearing those clothes...
felt like a typical drama...unnecessary accusation...not listening to others perspective..

just knew Uddhav's story upto getting Prem gyan by Radhaji...
r they dragging the track unnecessarily...πŸ˜•
