Since Jaya is travelling i'll be doing the written update 😊
~ 23rd January Written Update ~
PA is in the car watching Verma. He phones RD to tell her hes found the man who tried to kill Karan. RD wants to know who it is that wants to kill Karan. PA tells her he will tell her when she comes. She tells him to wait as she is coming. PA watches Verma from the car.
Outside the courthouse all four ladies are with SJ. Seeing Brahma, Uttara tells them its very necessary for Brahmas true face to be shown. Uttara asks if she can testify again but SJ tells her its too late as she changed her statement the last time the judge wont believe her now. Devyani tells Uttara it would be best if she went home. Aditya arrives and sees Uttara and Devyani hugging. He goes to Brahma who asks him if hes ok. Aditya is silent and sad and looks at Priya with Vidya.
Brahma tells him how all the ladies have joined forces against him. He asks Aditya if he is with him, Aditya tells him he is, no matter what. Brahma informs Aditya that if Priya makes the same accusations in court again he (Brahma) will have to answer her in the same manner even though he doesnt want to and for him (Aditya) not to feel bad and try to understand. Aditya looks uncomfortable.
In the courthouse SJ tells the judge that the case started off as a divorce case but since Brahmas reality started to surface he wants to shed some more light on Brahmas reality. Therefore he wishes to question Priya. Priya looks scared as she goes to the witness box. She takes the oath to tell the truth.
SJ asks her how long has she been married, she replies, almost a year. Just then Aditya walks in. They both look at each other. Priya looks at him worriedly and a bit scared. Aditya stares at her, Devyani and Gaurav look worried too. SJ starts his questioning, he asks Priya how long has she known Brahma. She replies, she met him before her wedding, when she didnt even know her husband Aditya.
At the house upon being asked by Bauji, Uttara replies Devyani sent her home. She calls out to Imli for some water for Bauji but Imli is in a world of her own. Uttara goes in the kitchen herself. Imli is cold with her. Uttara asks Imli to forgive her. Imli tells her she should ask Devyani for forgiveness and not her. Bauji tells her he has forgiven her. Uttara is moved to tears and hugs Bauji.
In court SJ continues with his questioning. He asks Priya that before she got married to Aditya she was engaged to someone else, what happened for her engagement to break. Priya tells him about that night (shown in flashback). Priya is in tears and upset. Even Aditya also looks upset.
SJ asks her who was it that tried to rape her? Without looking at Brahma and just pointing her finger she tells the court it was Mr. Brahmanand Jakhar. Aditya closes his eyes, Devayani, Gaurav and Vidya look at each other. The rest of the courtroom is abuzz with the revelation. Brahma looks a bit shocked and surprised.
SJ asks Priya if she has mistaken Brahma in recognising him. She replies how can she make a mistake with all the pain he has caused. SJ asks Priya what happened next (again flashbacks are shown of Priya and her papa going to file a complaint, her being arrested and her marriage being broken). She tells the court how she wanted to commit suicide( Aditya looks at her with sympathy)and Aditya was the one who saved her and not only from dying but he also taught her how to live, smile and love (flashbacks). Priya says they decided to get married but Brahma deceived her by sending someone else to meet her as Adityas dad. SJ asks her why she didnt tell Aditya about it. She tells him how Brahma threatened her (flashback of the day after the wedding is shown). She tells the court how she was not only molested but mentally abused too and had to stay quiet as a daughter, sister, daughter in law and as a wife. Priya who is in tears looks at Aditya who is also looking as if hes ready to cry. How she couldnt tell Aditya as for him his father is like God. She asks the judge how can a woman tell her husband that his father tried to molest her, its not easy to live under the same roof but she did because it wasnt just a house to her but a home. Its her family, as she doesnt have a mother she got a mother in the form of a mother in law, a husband who used to love her alot. How she got a bhai, bhabhi, bauji and a sister in the form of a nanad. Its her family and she stayed quiet for them. But later she began to realise that the women in the house were all somehow victims of his abuse. She only stayed quiet for a short time but Devyani stayed quiet for thirty years. And thats why she (Priya) decided that for the sake of the familyt she will break her silence.
SJ thanks Priya and tells the judge how Brahma wanted to prove Devyani characterless but today he (Judge) has seen what sort of character brahma possesses and that why his clients wants a divorce.
RD goes to the place where PA has kept Verma. She is shocked to see Verma who is tied up, beaten and unconscious. PA tells RD how Verma was responsible for Karans accident and also for the brakes failing. She tells PA to wake up Verma and ask him on whos say so he did it. PA tells her it was DIG Brahmanand Jakhar. RD is fuming, she tells PA , now she knows why Brahma accepted Gaurav and Karans relationship so easily and how he wanted Karan out of the way from the beginning. RD saying how big a mistake Brahma has made, before it was just between them but since he tried to kill her son she will cut off his hands. RD is furious, livid and angry as never seen before.

Brahma in court telling Priya not to waste the courts time and tell them what he did to her. Aditya, Devyani, Gaurav and Vidya all look uncomfortable as he asks her. Priya has her eyes closed with tears flowing down. Brahma insists on Priya to say where he touched her. Aditya who cant take it any longer stands up and tells Brahma to stop.
