The episode begins with Moniya saying bye to Akash who makes her promise to come meet him on shukruwar (don't know what day it is 🤔) Moniya asks Unnati why don't she send Uday back to Jaighadd and tells her about how Uday had come to the chawl following her and how she wasn't able to spend time with Akash. Moniya further tells her about Akash requesting her to meet on 20th January and then realizes that it's Akash's birthday on that day. Moniya tells Unnati that she will be with AKash on his birthday and will make sure that this time Uday don't spoil her plans. Unnati tells her that the only way Uday will intgerefere is if he doesn't know about Akash's birthday and for that Moniya has to be behave nicely with Uday (Uannati has now been shifted to my hate list 😡). Moniya agrees with Unnati and says that she will act like Uday's best friends and will even obey the family so that they can grant her the permission to go out on 20th Jan. (are we getting closer to a makeover? 😲)
Moniya is shown using the fork and knife while eating. Uday is surprised to see this and questions her over her using fork and knife. Moniya replies that she is practicing so that she doesn't forget how to eat with the fork and knife. Uday teases her about how she is showering her love to him and then suggests about going out for lunch. Moniya readily agrees but says Unnati will also come with them as they had planned to spend the day together. Uday is suspicious about her changed behavior and questions her whether she broke up with that Akash. Moniya slyly dismisses Akash's topic and excuses herself from Uday 's presence stating Unnati is waiting for her. J arrives and is surprised at Moniya's behavior and tells Uday that she definitely is planning something big.
Moniya comes to Dadisahab and thanks her for letting her enjoy kite flying and allowing her to go meet her friends. Dadisahab tells her that the festive is celebrated in a grand way in devghad and once Moniya visits Devghad then she will also fall in love with the place. Moniya excitedly requests Dadisahab to tell her about Devghad and then follows a long speech by rajmata regaling of her days spent in devghad. Komal enters the room and is surprised to see Moniya who tells her to join as Dadisahab is telling her Devghad stories (We finally see MOniya and Dadisahab bonding ). Rajmata says they are not stories, they are reality – their reality and then gets emotional talking about Moniiya's kidnapping and how their life had changed completely after that. Komal then finally tells Moniya about how in her absence they had celebrated her birthday every year and even got gifts for her. Moniya is surprised to hear this but soon is double shocked when Dadisahb shows the gifts she had kept safely for (this beautiful scene is tarnished by Moniya's ulterior motive behind her changed behavior 😡😭).
Moniya asks Dadisahab if she can open and see the gifts. Dadisahab tells her to go on as they are all hers. A very sweet emotional scene with Komal, Dadisahab and Moniya as both Komal and Dadisahab one by one tell her about each gift (awww….. so many gifts! ). Moniya remembers her baba and gets sad. Unnati comes and cheers Moniya and tells her about surprise parties. Moniya likes the idea of surprise party and tells Unnati that she has decided to give Akash a surprise birthday party.
(and just when I though the episode was going great! skip the scene guys because annoying Chicki and Soni are back to annoy us😡) both are try and sneak into the palace but is stopped by the guards and then later saved by Unnati. Uday and J watch this from the window were J taunts on Moniya's friends while Uday thinks that Moniya is happy because of meeting her friends and believes that Moniya has now begun to like and accept him (tera kuch nahi ho sakta Uday…. Such overconfidence is not good! ). J tells him to dream on.
Moniya is in her room with Chicki, Soni and Uannati complaining about having no money to throw the party bash. Unnati tells Moniya that she will give her the money but Moniya says she wants to take any ones money for Akash's party. Annoying Chicki suggests on collecting donation from the chawl people and using tht money to host Akash's birthday party. Moniya reminds her by yelling that she doesn't want any donation money. Uday makes his entry and questions what they are doing and why he feels as if they are hiding something from him. Unnati says they are just acting our on DDLJ's dialogue followed by Moniya speaking a dialogue from the movie to Uday who smiles at her with amusement. Moniya then tells Uday to the next dialogue but he refuses saying he will take their leave now.
Moniya alerts the family by drumming the platter with spoon. The whole family comes to the dining room to see Moniya wearing a chef hat and telling them that she decided to give them a chaat treat. Rajmata and Komal are happy to see Moniya finally connecting with them. Moniya drags Dadisahab to her chair and lovingly feeds her the chaat. Brijraj and Komal are pleased to see Moniya's gesture (Am I the only one hating Moniya for this? How selfishly she is taking advantage of Rajmata and Komal's emotions 😡😭). Rajmata gives Moniya money saying that it is their tradition to give money to encourage the person when he/she cooks for the first time. Moniya is happy to get the money and sharing a secret smile and wink with Unnati.

Moniya says now she will throw such a birthday bash that Akash will remember it for the rest of his life. Unnati tells her that they have only just crossed one hurdle they still have to face the most difficult job.
