Many people believe that China is going to be the superpower of 21st century. They produce most of the products we use today. They are rich. They have a strong government. They have most of the reasons as to why they can be a superpower.

What do you guys think??? Will 21st Century will be China's Century or not??

also their decision makers are not insincere like India's. It's really sad, given the amount of potential India has for development.

Another reason is that they pay their professionals well so they attract the best human resources.

Also the fact that they aren't a 60% village like India helps too.

Gooo china!

A significant chunk of China's population is grappling with poverty even though things have vastly improved in that country over the decades. Go into the hinterland, and you'll pretty much see that the conditions there reflect the huge urban-rural schism that exists even in India and other third world countries. Of course the poverty in India is more deep rooted and in your face, but things have turned worse for China's rural population ever since their Government increased the poverty threshold sometime last year to $1 a day.

About their 'strong Government'- yeah they don't take shit from anyone, and they get things done. Their infrastructure is the best of all emerging economies, and their foreign and economic policies make other nations crap their pants. To summarise, they have balls of steel. The Indian Govt. on the other hand is comprised of a bunch of eunuchs who'd rather string together garlands for their demi-Gods and play taash with their neighbourhood paanwalas.

But the Chinese Govt. is also a glowing example of nightmarish Orwellian policies and thought constructs. That's a huge contributor to China becoming a superpower. The minorities in China live in abject fear, and so does the electorate. There's no freedom of speech, no tolerance for criticism, no room for civil liberties, and basically no adherence to a bulk of basic human rights.

It boils down to what you're more comfortable with: Big Brother governance within a promising economic environment, or haphazard politics within a relatively more accommodating democracy- though of course, Kaangress seems to wanna go the China way of late.

Seems like it. Kapil Sibal is going on his Tom Sawyer whitewashing spree, and no one apart from a handful of civil rights groups and free speech advocates seem to be bothered. The same thing happened when Aadhaar was announced. All too many Indians don't know anything about the importance of freedom of speech. Either that, or they don't give a damn.

But why do you consider it necessary to first work and earn in a smothering China to later become a rich man in India 😲 😕
Cant you stay rich in China OR work and become rich in India 🤔

simple:
china and america will pay me more, also I'm not that lavish and extravagant, so I'll be able to save, and I'm good at investing, so my surplus will be invested and wealth will be increased.

since I won't care abt china as I am not from there, I will return to India after I make the huge bucks and live there.
