Amit Singh Thakur and Papiya Dey in Punar Vivah!TB

Tellybuzz recently broke the news about Shashi-Sumit Mittal coming up with their next unique concept on Zee TV in the form of Punar Vivah, where two individuals come together due to unexpected circumstances and get married.

The promos are already on air which convey that the show will commence from 6th of February in the 10:30 PM time slot. The latest we hear is that Amit Singh Thakur, currently seen in Colors' Parichay Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka, and Papiya Dey (Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani fame) have been finalized to essay the in-laws of Smriti (Kratika Sengar).

A source informs, "As the promos reveal, Smriti, a mother of one gets married to Siddharth (Gurmeet Choudhary), a father of two. Smriti loses her husband and her in-laws who consider her as their own daughter, ask her to get married again."
 
We contacted Amit Singh Thakur and he confirmed, "Yes, I will be essaying Smriti's father-in-law but more than her in- law, I will be like her real father."

To add on to the information,Bhagonwali - Baante Apni Taqdeer – would make way for Punar Vivah from 6th of February.
