The episode begins with Dadisahab ordering Moniya to remain in her room till she learns some manners. Moniya walks away in anger while Daddisahab tells J that she did the right thing by throwing Moniya 's clothes but that doesn't mean that she has forgotten her punishment. Uday watches with his trademark smirk.
Moniya is upset and talking to herself about how the family yelled at her. She throws herself on the bed in a huff and Komal enters the room and sees hoe upset she is. Moniya hides herself inside the comforter seeing Komal in the room and tells her that she doesn't want to talk with anyone so please leave her alone. Komal explains to Moniya that her father's anger was justified; she shouldn't have behaved liked that in front of the guests. Moniya says what guests? That Uday is always here and I am not going to change myself for anyone (she really needs to get rid of this notion!). Moniya tells Komal that all this is J's fault she was the one who threw all her things away but she didn't complain instead she made her own clothes but still they got upset with her for no reason. Komal tells her that's not the issue the issue is that she shouldn't have spoken to her father and grandmother in such a manner in the guests presence. Komal asks Moniya till how long will she deny her true identity, she is a rajkumari hence should behave like one. Moniya says why are they after changing her, she doesn't want to change and if this is problem to them then they can send her back to chawl (yah, that's what you really want Moniya hence all this rebellious acts!)
Brijraj is upset and talks to Giriraj about how he himself has never spoken to his mother in such a manner. He tells him that Murali was right when he said Moniya is his daughter, he turned Manyata to Moniya. Giriraj tries to calm him and tells him that however she is but you need her as she is the heir to devghad. Giriraj tells Brijraj that Moniya is still childish, she can be molded in anyway we want which Dadisahab understands very well. Brijraj questions him what he wants to tell him? Giriraj says that before Dadisahab gets full control over Moniya , he should be the one to control Moniya. Right now Moniya longs for her father and Brijraj should use that to befriend Moniya.
Uday comes into Moniya's room and praises her for getting all the family against herself. Moniya says she doesn't care if they hate her, they should also know that she will never be like them. As it is they want to make her Manyata and kill the Moniya inside her. Uday says he likes the Moniya inside her. Moniya tells Uday she is not in the mood to have tiffs with him and besides he can never understand what she is going through. Udays tells her Self pity doesn't suit her, Moniya yells at him says all this happened because of him why does he always come here with his father why couldn't they just call Brijraj over to their house!
Uday says that's more like it and tells her that he enjoys it when she yells at him like this. Moniya calls him by his name and tells him to let her be but Uday says for you I am only Uday not Udayveer and today is the first time she called him by his name instead of "halkat, maidia, suwar". Moniya says to quit it! Uday says that's what she needs to do. She needs to let go of her resistance and just accept what is in front of her, she has been given all this that ever girl dreams of. Uday tells her that she needs to embrace this and accept her family. He walks away leaving Moniya in deep thoughts.
Dadisahab is talking with Unnati and tells her that she doesn't understand Moniya's resistance. She asks Unnati's help and tells her that Moniya connects with her and only she can transform Moniya to Manyata. Unnati says that right now Moniya needs a friend nothing else. Dadisahab says every relationship comes with conditions even friendship.
Moniya is upset in her room and stares out the window and talks to herself about how she is a prisoner in this huge palace with no freedom to do anything. She sees the phone and calls the chawl asks the guy for Chicki saying it's very important for her to talk with Chicki. Akash who is their answers the phone and learns that it's Moniya. Akash says that Chicki is not here but Moniya says so what he can talk with her, she had been dying to talk with him. She starts her complains about how she is being treated by the family members (Gosh! She is becoming more like J now!).
Moniya is upset that Akash handed over the phone to Chicki instead of talking with her. Moniya and Chicki argue. Chicki yells at Moniya saying does she even realize the problems they are going through and informs her about Amma being very ill. And tells her that she is a rajkumari now so not to worry about them. Moniya and Akash are both sad and thinking about the moments they spent together as the song tere liye plays in the background (Torture! Torture!).
J comes into the room and sees Moniya sitting on the ground holding the phone. She teases Moniya but Moniya yells at her to go enjoy her time with LMOP. J reminds her of her house arrest. Both the sisters have another tiff ending with Moniya resolving to change J into a chawl wali.
Amma is ill and keeps calling out for Moniya. Chicki and Soni are taking care of her but she keeps saying she wants to meet Moniya. Akash says they will wait till morning for the rever to go down.
Moniya sees the maid carrying popcorn and drink in a tray and stops her saying she wants it too. She says she will come with her too. Moniya enters the room carrying the tray and prompts J to have the popcorn and says that they have fought too much so she decided to take a break. Both watch the TV , Moniya tells J to have popcorn (a funny scene).
Komal stops the maid and questions her who replies that both the princess are watching TV and having popcorn. She sees Menaka and tells her about it who says that it's the calm before the storm.

Moniya is pleading to Dadisahab to let her go out saying she can't handle the stinking smell. Dadisahab says she will let her go outside.
