~ 28th December Written Update ~
Its morning and Devyani, Priya and Vidya are in the kitchen when Vidya enquires about the dance classes. Priya fills Vidya in telling her how Devyani has joined a dance class, Vidya is very excited hearing about it. She tells Devyani she wants to talk to her but is worried Devyani will get angry with her. Devyani tells her she wont and tells Vidya to tell what it is. Vidya hesitatingly tells Devyani she doesnt want to remarry but wants to become independant so she can stand on her own two feet. She tells Devyani she also talked about it with Priya who gave her good advice that she Vidya should do something which will come in use to her in the future and she will only do it if Devyani agrees. Devyani tells Vidya to do what she wishes as its her life and tells Vidya and Priya she is very proud of her daughter in laws. All three are very happy and smiling when Imli appears asking why they are all so happy considering the situation the family is in. Devyani tells her thats life and when in trouble try to stay happy so that happiness comes soon in the family. Uttara is listening to all this from the doorway. Devyani continues telling Imli, as long as the women stick together no problems or sadness can make them weak. Imli also agrees.
The family are seated at the dining table (Uttara has secured her place on the other side of where Brahma sits and opposite Devyani. Vidya tells Uttara that she looks very happy today. Uttara tells her shes extremely happy. She tells them she has a surprise for them and it will be in front of them in 5 minutes. Just then Tara appears, all are very happy to see her except Brahma. Uttara does her motherly stuff. Tara complains to Aditya how he never phoned her once but Sweety phones her from London.
Uttara goes to make hot chocolate for Tara when Brahma follows her. He tells her how he had forbidden her from calling Tara home. She tells him Taras their daughter and she wants her to be present when they make the announcement. She tells him its a good opportunity for him to spend time with Tara since its her holidays too. Uttara tells Brahma she knows hes happy to see Tara and Brahma just puts on a fake smile.
Later, Devyani questions Uttara as to why she had to drag Tara in to all this as Tara is just a child and does Uttara even realise the effect it will have on Tara. Devyani tells her to not do anything which will make her lose her daughter. Uttara tells Devyani, Taras her daughter and she knows what to do and what Devyani is doing to stop the divorce. But the divorce will happen. Devyani is about to say something when Priya comes and tells Devyani to leave it as theres no point in making Uttara understand. She tells Devyani to come with her. Uttara tells Priya that she should understand, no matter what planning she does with Devyani she will not let anything go wrong and leaves.
Priya tells Devyani theres no point in talking to Uttara as she wont understand and it wont make any difference. Priya tells Devyani she knows she is worried about Tara but they cant do anything and they'll have to see what happens. She tells Devyani to leave Uttara to do what she wants and to think about her own life. Priya reminds Devyani about her dance class.
Aditya is looking for Devyani, Brahma tells him she has gone to her dance class. Aditya is surprised to hear this. Brahma tells him when people at this age go on a pilgrimmage Devyani has decided to dance, he is not bothered about her taking dance lessons but she has started to neglect the family. Aditya asks when did Devyani get interested in dance. Brahma lays on his self pity voice and Tells Aditya he didnt want to tell him but since he asked he will take show him.
Devyani is at the dance class, but is lost in her own thoughts, which SJ notices. He asks her if Brahma has proposed to her, which makes her laughs, SJ laughs too. From a distance Aditya and Brahma are watching. Brahma tells him to see and understand for himself. Aditya watches Devyani dance with SJ. Brahma tells him if he feels bad as her son then think what it is doing to him to see his wife like this.
At the house Uttara is making preparations for the party. She is about to order Jaggi to do an errand for her, but tells Nathu instead who tells her Jaggi always does it as hes never done it. She tells Nathu to do it as Jaggi might not be there in the future. Imli also listens to this. Imli is not pleased with Uttaras actions. Tara overhears who Imli is calling shameless, Imli makes up an excuse.
Gaurav asks Uttara if she is planning a party for the new year. She reminds him her birthday comes first. Bauji who has come into the hall also hears this.
Uttara tells Gauravshe has found out about him and if he had told her then she would have never let him go through so much pain. She tells him love just happens and it can be with anybody. She tells him she will always be with him and tells him to invite Karan.
Tara on seeing Bauji tkaes him with her to help with the party. Gaurav phones Karan and invites him and RD to Uttaras birthday party and tells him to rest till then.
SJ tells Devyani how she was distracted today. She tells him about the party and how Brahma will tell the family about the divorce and if he wont then Uttara will. SJ tells her it was bound to happen. Devyani tells him shes worried about Uttara and Tara. SJ tells her till when will she worry about others, she should think about her family and not her sister and her daughter. Devyani tells him they too are her family.
Everyone is decorating the hall when Brahma and Aditya come. Brahma leaves to go to his room to rest. Uttara tells Aditya to see to the decorations. Just then Devyani comes in all happy and asks if she should also help, she is behind Aditya with her hand on his shoulder. He turns around and galres at her angrily, Devyani and Priya notice this. Aditya leaves and Devyani tells Priya to go after him. Devyani looks worried.

Uttara telling Brahma its best if he tells everyone he is divorcing Devayni and is going to marry her. Just then Aditya opens the door and stares at Brahma.
