The judges of Zee TV's Business Baazigar | Zee TV seems to have beaten its rival Star One in announcing the launch of a reality-based, multi-episodic series loosely based on the lines of the international hit, The Apprentice.
Recently, Star One confirmed that the channel would be launching a desi version of The Apprentice, with the flamboyant Vijay Mallya likely to step into Donald Trump's shoes.

On the sets of Business Bazaar | However, Zee's Business Baazigar is tentatively set to hit the small screen on March 18, and is a show that provides budding entrepreneurs an opportunity to sell their business ideas to a panel of judges.
The judges would then take a call and select the idea they think is the most feasible and fund it.
"After the success of Cinestars Ki Khoj, the channel now plans to up the ante in the reality arena by launching Business Baazigar as the channel's biggest reality show on television. The tagline of the show is 'Idea Laoβ¦Paise Le Jao', and the format is pretty close to what the line says," avers Abhijit Saxena, business head, Zee TV.
Fifty contestants from all over India will be brought to Mumbai where they face the elimination rounds.
The panel of judges consists of Subhash Chandra, chairman, Zee Telefilms and Mahesh Murthy, CEO, Passionfunds, along with a new guest judge each week.
These 50 contestants will be whittled down to 20, and eventually at the end of the month there will be winner chosen out of these contestants by a scheme of gradual elimination.
The show will have four seasons, with each season being for a month. The final winner will be chosen on the basis of his selling capabilities, with strong emphasis on the basic idea and its feasibility.
The judges will make the contestants go through a series of tasks and tests in each round and at the end of it, the results will be announced.
The final season winner will see his business idea materialise with the help of funding provided by the channel.
