There was one serial on college and drugs etc. in 1987 or so. Nice sound track, cant remember the name of the show but.

I think you are talking 'bout Chunauti, but I can't remember the title song of that one 😭

There was another serial on drungs, college etc called Subah and the title song was fabulous, we had even recorded it. But that was before 1987, must be 1985/86. I was in 4th std that time I guess, did'nt really understand the serial much, but I used to love the song. Before reading this post, this was the first song that came to my mind when I saw the title of this thread.

I think many of our choices match 😊. I love the title songs of Jungle Book, Malgudi Days, Buniyaad, Hasrathein (had beautiful songs in the serial in addition to the title song), Hum Paanch, and Mahabharat (loved the way they used the same title tune in all the songs in the epic). Also loved the original Sa Re Ga Ma song sung by Sadhana Sargam.

Amongst Marathi serials, I loved the title songs of Aabhalmaya and Avantika.

P.S: I do not watch serials much, but love listening to the title songs 😉

though being a non marathi i personally love the title track of avantika

that was a wonderful song
of course avantika had a great actress doing the title role

anyone remember?

This bhajan was really very melodious .

It's really great fun to write these old tracks bring back good old memories of golden days of my life ,really nothing matches that childhood , little studies ,lots of cricket and lots of TV.
