If the movie continues to fly off the shelves, it could become the "biggest selling DVD of all time", according to reports (which strangely think "all time" means 10 years, as that's only how long the format has been available).
The film's stars, Daniel Radcliff, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, are already shooting the next installment of the schoolboy wizard series, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix", but you'll have to wait until next year to see it.
Despite the massive first day sales of the "...Goblet of Fire" DVD, it failed to smash the record set by "Finding Nemo" in 2003, when 8 million copies of the Disney movie were snapped up in 24 hours.
