Oshin japanese serial

Hey I am looking for the Japanese serial aired on Doordarshan called "Oshin" in late 1980's....Does anybody have any information regarding it??

This was telecast in India for a while, I think in teh 90s...

It was a terrific serial.I don't know what happened to it though.
