Songs copied/inspired from Hindi songs?

I wonder if any foreign composer has lifted/copied any hindi song? I would be interesting to know.

OT: I am busy playing with balloons hence less posts in SRGMP forum.

 

If any, it will be the other way around where Indian MD copy foreigners music!!! isnt it?

moulin rouge had urmilas 'chamma chamma' playing in the background in one of its scenes i think.

but almost all of the above have recognized the originals..and when they havent bollywood MDs have sued them to get money.
Bollywood MD's always say I have never heard about the original and still go scott free.
