Songs copied/inspired from Hindi songs?

I wonder if any foreign composer has lifted/copied any hindi song? I would be interesting to know.

moulin rouge had urmilas 'chamma chamma' playing in the background in one of its scenes i think.

but almost all of the above have recognized the originals..and when they havent bollywood MDs have sued them to get money.😆😆
Bollywood MD's always say I have never heard about the original and still go scott free.😡
