Well today was an interesting episode.
I love that Gopi turns to Ahem, it's lovely to see in their relationship!! Ahem tells everyone not to worry and he will think of something, and goes out to phone the police and then inform MM of what's happened. Kokila answers the phone and starts on her little diatribe about now surely Gopi must realise the truth, Ahem tells her to stop and listen and informs her of the reality, tells her they have to rescue Rashi come what may and quickly cuts the call because he has to think of something. So Ahem dhikra is relying on his own brain power today rather than asking advice from his mum - another great development.
Back to my new favourite character the head ghunda or ghunda bhai as Urmi calls him. He's telling Rashi that her family are useless because even though he's asked for money they say they don't have any. He says if they don't have money then they will kill Rashi, Rashi bargains for her life by giving away her jewellery and asks to be released, ghunda bhai says this is just a token he's still awaiting the 10 lakh. Now here the kidnappers could easily take the jewellery forcibly or even after killing Rashi so it's not really an incentive for them to let her go especially as she's already handed it to them.
Urmila's still crying, Gopi is trying to comfort her. Jhitu asks Ahemji if anything has happened he says he's informed the police and something will happen soon. Now Urmila cries even more and says they could do anything to Rashi when we hear Koki's voice. Now I love Koki but there wasn't really a need to hammer in the point that Urmila and Rashi are reaping the fruits of their own plotting here, karmis retribution and so on. Even Ahem looked surprised to hear his mum's voice.
All the Modi's are here including the men!! Dhaval goes to stand by his aunt after all family is family. Koki reiterates that even though Urshi did what they did out of humanity and because Rashi is a woman they are here to help bring Rashi back to Urmila's house. So kind of makes it clear that they wouldn't be taking Rashi back to MM. Koki quickly takes charge, and just then the kidnappers ring. Jigar takes the phone and Ahem tells him to put it on speakerphone. Modi boys in control here.
Funniest line for me today was when Jigar asked who was on the phone and ghunda bhai answered that "What do you need to know my name and address for, are you going to wish me happy new year!"
He then proceeds to taunt Rashi and Jigar about their love for each other - ironic seeing the state of play between the two. But we do see genuine concern from Jigar.
Did you notice the neighbours listening in at Urmila's house? No pretence at minding their own business there!!
Ghunda bhai gives his instructions of when, where and how to bring the money - 3am with a lady. And of course not to try anything clever.
I love how the CVs think they need to explain every little detail to us - did we really need to have it spelt out for us why they wanted a woman?
Ahem is getting stressed because it's alreaady so late and they don't have a lot of time. Jigar asks who should be sent with the money, and Ahem says first they need to inform the police. Urmila gets scared and asks him not to phone the police, he argues that they need to and is backed by his mum. Urmila is adamant and begs Ahem not to tell them.
Now here's where the CVs lost me. Ahem has already informed the police. Surely they should have come round to Urmi house by now especially as The Ahem Modi told them!! And aren't they going to be suspicious when they don't here anything further about the kidnapping? And wouldn't it have b een safer to get a female police officer to do the exchange? Oh well then we'd never have the GoHem moments we're expecting so I shouldn't treally complain.
Chirag tells him not to and Ahem listens to him. Gopi disappears to get water for Urmila, Chirag goes to get the money from the office, and Parag goes as protection lol because Hetal was worried about him going alone.
Koki says she will go with the money, but Ahem says neither her nor Hetal will go - nice to see Ahem adamant about not only him mum but his kaki too! Hetal tells Koki that Ahem has probably got valid reasons for not letting them go - (lol do we think Hetal didn't want to go?)
Urmila says that Rashi is her daughter and she will go (and we were all being so horrible about her yesterday!!) Koki says she shouldn't as she is already emotional and worried and might not be able to manage. (Basically saying that she might ruin everything with her usual nonsense).
Loved Dhaval here!!! He offered to send his wife to face the kidnappers - he's obviously finally had enough of her!! Kinjal's reaction was priceless!!! She was a logical choice but she flat out refuses. When she said that she doesn't know how to speak to ghunda's I did think she had a natural flair for it but Urmila's response was good here! Koki tells them both to calm down.
Gopi walks in with the water and Urmila asks her to do it, calls her dhikra and everything. To be fair to Urmila here there's no one else left.
Gopi is shocked as are everyone else, also can we see some fear.
Gopi agrees and Ahem just asks her if she's sure!! Now I could get annoyed here because he didn't try and stop her but I'm going to go positive - he obviously doesn't trust anyone else and knows that Gopi will be able to do it after all she does has experience in these sort of matters i.e. the thief that broke in, and orchestrating her escape from her own kidnapping.
Kinjal's sigh of relief is just so Kinjal!!!!
Loved Ahem's speech here!! Starts with "OK I will let you go" Now I'm going to take this moment as being husbandly and letting his wife do it! The whole speech is magnificent. Koki and Heal look so proud of him and my heart was full to bursting!!
Back at the kidnapping I laughed when I saw Rashi asleep!! Gosh that girl manages to sleep through anything!! Although I am confused at this dialogue of the kidnappers. They've told the Modi's to get the moeny but haven't yet told them where to bring it so surely the next move is ghunda bhai's? Modi's can't contact them - I'm assuming the number is withheld!
I do love ghunda bhai though his whole attitude makes me laugh!!
Jigar decides he wants to go. Hetal says that if everyone goes then Rashi's life could be in danger. Jigar says how can he stay back when Rashi and stops. He then just says he wants to go. The poor boy, so worried about his wretch of a wife!! Koki tells Hetal to let hiim go and tells the boys to be careful. Urmila tells Jigar to do anything but bring her daughter back, Jigar reassures her - he's so nice.
The phone rings and it's the kidnappers who ask about the money and give them some more instructions.
Everyone is worried that Modi men aren't back with the money yet. Jigar sees them come, the phone incidentally rings at this time, with Ahem answering it this time, the final instructions are given. Ahem tells Gopi to come Gopi takes the blessings of Kokila and the three musketeers head off.

Ahem tells Gopi to be careful throught he bluetooth headset and Gopi answers leaving the ghunda to get suspicious and shout at our Gopi.
