Hey guys,

So i know there are mixed opinions about today's episode and my feelings are similar to many of yours. I don't know why everytime there is some progression the CVs manage to take a step back..now with the whole sorry and hugging repetitiveness...well amongst all that i really liked the picturization of the scene where Khushi is standing by the sliding door to Arnav's room.

Well today i tried to look at some symbolism (inspired by the great Opti) and i felt that sliding door represented the door to Arnav and Khushi's hearts. Khushi comes and opens the door..she has infact opened the door to ASR's heart..she tries to talk to him make him understand..but he goes and closes the door on her..he is trying to lock her out of his heart...he wants the doors of his heart to remain closed.

However, Khushi her adamant self refuses to give up and again opens the sliding door, she talks to him and talks about how he is mad at her and shouldn't take it out on others. Again she is standing at the door of his heart telling him how much of an effect she has on him. However he refuses to believe this. Arnav tries to step forward again to close the door but is unable to..and then he sees the tears well up in her eyes after he tells her that she doesn't matter to him at all.. He turns around and closes his eyes upset at his words and for hurting her again...

But this time when Arnav does turn around..it is Khushi herself who closes the door.. this time the door is symbolic of her own heart..after repeated attempts to make Arnav reason Khushi failed and then when Arnav himself understood..it was too late as Khushi already closed the door to her heart..

Also i found it quite interesting how Khushi didn't enter ASR's room..it is as if an invisible boundary has been created between them in the form of their respective engagements and they both can't cross it...or it could also represent that although they have given dastak at each other's hearts they haven't yet entered each other's heart fully..possibly cuz they haven't admitted their love for each other to themselves yet even...

Ok idk if i made any sense there..thanks for reading.. a little poem to go with my thoughts😆

Na band karo mujhpe apne dil ke darwaze oh sanam

Ek bar mere dil ki sadaa sunlo tumhey meri kasam

Yeh dil chatha hai sirf tumhe tum yeh kab samjhogay

Akhir kab tak tum humse itne ukhray ukhray rahogay

In aankhon mein agar tum aansoon dekh nahi sakthey

Toh kyun apne karve bolon ko tum nahi rokthey

Kab samjhongey ke ek sorry se yeh dil nahi beheltha

Yeh sun na chatha hai ke tumhara dil bhi sirf humarey liye hai dhadaktha

Also another thing...was the voice over different in several parts of today's episode for Arnav? or was it just voice modulation by Barun..idk for some reason i didn't like that too much...

Very well said!! I too noticed the door...its opening and closing..but what caught my eye was that the DOOR was made of GLASS...you see for both of them...the state of the heart is crystal clear...that each can see right thru the other's heart. The other point of note was the Reflection that the door imprints...when Khushi looks thru the door into his heart...what she see is a reflection of herself there...and Vice versa...when he looks thru the glass door...he see straight to her heart only to see himself reflected there.

They may not verbalize what is in their hearts...but the DOOR reflects it quite clearly!!

Aapse Door Kaise Reh Paate
Dil Se Aapko Kaise Bhula Paate
Kash Aap Sapno Ke Alawa Sheeshay Mai Basey Hote
Khud Ko Bhi Dekhte Toh Aap Hi Nazar Aate

it was grating to hear someone else's voice being used for aranv.. glad he said Lavanya and not Khushi bcos that would have been worse...

i dont want khushi to have closed her heart to arnav...

I too was not happy with today's episode...instead of progression...they have regressed in this relationship...but this scene did catch my eye...there was something beyond the words there...

That's a wonderful interpretation Desigirl and I agree with Nargis too. They can see their reflection in each other's heart and that they can look right through into each other's heart. Khushi is Arnav's conscience keeper and she will keep knocking at it every time he goes against it. She may be as terrified of his yelling as La is but she takes the bull by the horns even if it means she may get shredded to pieces in the process. Arnav may rant and rave that he does not care for her or her words but ends up doing exactly what she wants of him.

Nargis, I dont think they have regressed in their relationship. Arnav is learning a lesson each day from Khushi. Today he learnt the lesson to accept the changes in a person even if those changes may not be to his liking. Arnav couldn't stand to see La dressed in clothes that reminded him of the one woman he is desperately trying to forget. He let his intolerance known to La. After Khushi knocked at his conscience, he understood that he has no right to stop La from wearing what she pleases. I think with this came the realisation that it wasn't fair to dictate terms to a woman he wasn't in love with. In fact he did not have the right to dictate terms even with the woman he loved. The sorry he uttered was to Khushi for he was looking directly at her when he uttered it.
