guest50: Hi Shruti, how was it to be an actor after being a VJ?
shrutiseth: I have always been into acting I became a VJ later
sid1287: So what was your first brake?
shrutiseth: I did a show called Thriller at 10 that was 6 years ago.
guest50: Why did you choose to be part of Mum Tum Aur Hum?
shrutiseth: I liked it, nothing else like that was happening on TV at the moment. And it was fun to be part of it
guest50: What is the best thing about Mum Tum Aur Hum?
shrutiseth: The cheque!
guest50: Was it difficult to get into the glamour feild?
shrutiseth: Not really - I was lucky though.
guest50: Where are you from?
shrutiseth: Mumbai
guest50: How old are you?
shrutiseth: 28 years
guest50: How did you become a VJ?
shrutiseth: I was working with STAR, I always wanted to be a VJ, so it was easier.
guest57: Your favourite bit about being a VJ at Channel [V]?
shrutiseth: Travelling! And the fact that I got to meet a lot of people.
guest50: If given a chance to act in movies, would you leave the small screen?
shrutiseth: No
guest50: What do you plan to do on Valentine's day?
shrutiseth: My boyfriend is in Poland at the moment so I won't be doing anything.

guest50: How was it working with Purab in Shararat, after working together in Channel V?

shrutiseth: If I get paid an astronomical sum then, yes!

shrutiseth: I was naughty, accident prone, a big brat! I never cried.

shrutiseth: He is more brilliant then he looks, he is extremely easy going!
guest50: What is it that turns you on?
guest50: What do you hate about men?
shrutiseth: About who, about what? If it's men, its going to be honesty and sense of humour!
shrutiseth: They all tend to have this very condescending attitude.
guest50: What do you think about Mandira Bedi?
shrutiseth: I don't think about her! She has done extremely well in her career.

shrutiseth: Madhuri Dixit… She has got the most beautiful smile in the world!
guest50: If you had been given the role of Mallika Sherawat in Murder, would you play the role?
shrutiseth: I would not get it on the first place!

shrutiseth: You can't be repulsive looking, you need to have both.

shrutiseth: No, not really

shrutiseth: I want to travel a lot I can't pin-point on a place but yeah I love Kashmir

shrutiseth: Yes, considering I was a VJ!

shrutiseth: Shararat is the best platform, its given me popularity and its put a lot of jam on my bread and butter!
sidhapara: What do you think about that naughty Nani - Farida Jalal
shrutiseth: The character in Shararat is very close to the person I am. She is the finest actor that I have ever worked with, she has a heart of gold and she is very naughty in real too!
guest50: What's the first thought that came to your mind when you applied make up for the first time?
shrutiseth: I thought how am I going to take this off…

shrutiseth: Cool and comfortable clothing
sidhapara: Are you veggie or non-veggie?
shrutiseth: I am an absolute carnivour, I am Chinese food freak.

shrutiseth: I love music, dancing, reading, movies and I love to travel and I would love to see the world
guest50: Do you get irritated with kids?
shrutiseth: Honestly, yes. But its a rare occasion, I am child-like myself. I love to see how their minds work.
guest57: Looking back now, what is the one career decision you regret?
shrutiseth: None, I had a fantastic career

shrutiseth: Oh god, no, not now!
guest50: What is it that turns you off?
shrutiseth: Body odour!

shrutiseth: I wish I had the chance to play the role of Trinity of Matrix
guest50: Everyone must do a little amount of social service, what are you doing to help people around you?
shrutiseth: I have not done much, but I have fulfilled my duties as a citizen and I put a smile on people's faces
guest57: Are you fascinated by magic? What's your take on Harry Potter?
shrutiseth: Very fascinated by magic, its a fun film, movies are fun but I have not read the book.
guest57: You prefer to be in front of the camera or do you plan to head behind it?
shrutiseth: If I can manage, I would like to do both!

shrutiseth: Nanu is a huge support! He does a lot of things, it's just a garnishing for the show

shrutiseth: It's Kunal Kohli's film, I play Kajol's friend who does not like Amir very much.
