Sibling togetherness
Romesh Sharma's son, Karan (who had debuted in Dil Jo Bhi Kahey last year), walked in at Abhishek's birthday party holding hands with a PYT. Romesh Sharma and his family are very close to the Bachchans (Romesh and AB being best friends).
Everyone wondered who she was. When we called Karan and quizzed him about it he laughed, "I am sure you guys must have thought she's my girlfriend.
Well sorry to disappoint you but she's my younger sister Neema." And what does she do? "She had assisted dad during the making of Dil Jo Bhi Kahey and right now she is pursuing her studies." Well, it's heartening to know the lad has a sense of humour unlike most youngsters these days who are ready to raise a fist at a mere question.
Pooja- Ranvir: Filmi chakkar
|
|
Pooja Bhatt |
Ranvir Shourey | We love co-incidences. Last year lovebirds Shahid and Kareena both had films releasing on the same day.
Kyon Ki and Vaah Life Ho Toh Aisi. And this week ex-lovers Pooja Bhatt and Ranvir Shourey shae the same honour. Another similarity? Both films have English titles.
However, unlike Ranvir, who has made a big acting debut in Mixed Doubles, Pooja has bid adieu to acting. She prefers being behind the camera? Who knows if they decide to forget the past, we'd see Ranvir being directed by the Bhatt babe. If dosti doesn't last forever, neither should dushmani. At least that's the way it should be.
Toon networking
Like elder brother Sallu, Sohail Khan, too, has a fascination for tees with toon characters and matching up to him is Karan Johar who flaunts his Mickey Mouse.
Frankly we prefer these toon characters than the Superman Tees that everyone has been wearing.
We spy Riteish!!
We spotted Riteish Deshmukh in a pink tee and blue jeans walking around checking out the Kala Ghoda festival.
There he was completely blending with the crowd.
There was none of that, 'look at me, I am a star' demeanour.
He was minus any hangers on. Just being the boy next door. Just the kind girls fall for. Sigh! We like your son's attitude, CM Saab!!
Got Bombay Talking

Bombay Talking on Zee Caf |
Last year we had two favourite shows on television. The Great Indian Comedy Show and Nach Baliye. This year, too, we have two favs.
The Great Indian Comedy show (the take-off which had the new Mrs Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and her glasses was super!) retains its position on our list.
The other new addition is Bombay Talking on Zee Caf. We like everything about the show. It is bold, sassy, well-shot, it's different from the saas-bahu sagas and above all it has new faces. If you haven't still caught the show. Catch it on Zee Caf on Friday to Sunday at 10.30 pm
