Mere Brother Ki Saali 🤣 🤣 A VirMan poem by Megz aka me. 😆
note: this poem is based off what the Star Plus website says about Virat-that he's the prankster of the family, but on the inside he is a bitter man due to his failure in business and thus fall in Dadaji's eyes, who had warned him about the said venture. He apparently doesn't believe in love, but somehow, Manvi turns on some kind of Prankster Switch inside him.
I returned from a place where I had gone with many dreams in my eyes
I had returned to the ground after falling from the skies
I had returned to people who loved me, and didn't care about what I'd done
But I couldn't just ignore that my dreams had lost, and their fears had won
I laugh around, I play in the hopes that no one will see
The deep well of guilt that resides within me
I try not to feel sorry for myself, and rejoice in my brother's good luck
And I try not think about how much life can suck
But what I wasn't expecting when my brother brought my pretty bhabhi home
Was the ek ke saath ek free package that also decided to come
She sticks to her sister as if someone's applied Fevicol
And somehow she just manages to see through my wall
She sees the former arrogance, she sees the former pride
She despises me and yet she takes my tricks in her stride
She's a fireball, with energy that just doesn't go away
And somehow, I can't help myself wishing that she would stay...
