In today's episode I felt that the CV's were again trying to show that there is a glimmer of hope for Rashi to one day become a "Good" person. Once she had doen her evilness and ensured that Gopi would not be able to study she rang her mum to gloat. Whilst gloating she did ask that "Gopi's eyes won't face any permanent damage will they?" to which Urmi replies that "Only for a day" (which turned out to be not quite a full day).
This is a blatant move to show that Rashi is not completely evil and will one day turn over a new leaf. They have doen this before when Rashi told Gopi the lie about her parents death.
I'm not entirely sure that the tiny remorse that Rashi shows is enough to cinvince me that she is not evil through and through because straaight after she has decided to injure Gopi's hand!!!!
I am gettign sick of seeing glimpses of goodness in Rashi's character. Jigar deserves soemone better than Rashi and a conveniently remorseful Rashi will not be good enough!

A character that is consistently unscrupulous can become very dull and boring to watch, the audience can have no faith in them. About 0.1% of the time, Rashi can show that she possesses a conscience, but this is so rare.
The writers need to show that she does have a humble side...like when she saw the impact of the lie she told Gopi about her parents, Rashi seemed crushed and even questioned her mother's motives, without success.
Even when she took 500 rupees from Jigar to give to her mum, she seemed guilty as she knew he wanted that money for his gym membership. The decent thing to do would be to have given it back, but she didn't bat an eyelid and spent it for her own selfish reasons.
The show would be ten times more interesting if Rashi showed more remorse, or at least is able to do something for selfless reasons (rather than selfish). Her romantic moments with Jigar can be quite sweet, but most of the time they seem undeserved and you can't help but pity Jigar as Rashi only ever comes across as fake and an imposter.
As the show reaches its conclusion, it would be ideal if Rashi has shown great progession in her character towards goodness, and it's not done as a last minute thing but gradual. She can still be Rashi, and be selfish (we all are in many respects) but she can also show humility and kindness...who knows?

I agree completely if they have decided that Rashi should be seen as having a remorseful side they need to show much more than one second of remorse. They need to start building her character more and more this one dimentional evil cow routine is wearing thin.
I don't want to see a last minute conversion she needs to start changing now. Her mum definately has too much influence in her life.
I think they need to start developing further her track with Jigar. When Jigar was supposed to be marrying Sonal they showed him becoming friends with Rashi as he is easy to get along with. Mayve we need the entry of someone else who could become a good friend to Jigar which would undermine Rashi and make her focus upon her own relationship and life consequently showing her the wrongfulness of her previous actions to Gopi and the rest of the family - but it seems unlikely her kalakaries in the past have resulted in some dangerous consequences but she hasn't shown that much guilt only fear that she shouldn't get caught (i mean when she nearly got Hetal and Koki killed in her previous plans.)

See I think she's a gold digger too BUT I don't think the CV's do if that makes any sense. I think they are going to reform her which is what annoys me but if their intent is to do it then they should get on with it because I am fast losing patience with the woman!!!

If the CVs have to show her as having reformed they should do it after she gets her punishment for all the evil she has done; she is a gold digger which is why she married Jigar and then ofcourse the remorseless wickedness towards Gopi throughout even before marriage- these things cannot be changed just by showing some positive aspects of character and these type of people need some major shock to learn. The actress playing the character is doing a good job; but I feel too much screen space is being given to her- for instance how she went on about conjunctivitis - and others watching her - as though they had never before heard of it. Irritates the audience.

I agree she needs to be punished first and she gets too much screen time - other characters such as Hetal and Jigar are being sidelined.
I would like to see Hetal or jigar catching her in the act when she is doing her kalakaries as they don't seem to believe it when koki says anything.

I feel it's just a waste of time, the amount of kalakaries she has done I will never believe she is good, or even a grey character...she's simply evil.

It is like our political parties and their battles. I just mute the sound when Rashi and her mother come. It is ugly and not a specimen of Indian women. Ahem and Gopi are dull. Gopi has not learnt after living in her aunt's house, and now in Modi house. Perhaps, after being educated, she may see the traps that are being laid for her. The best is the battle of Kinjal and her mother in law. It gives a comic relief, the Rashi/Urmila antics.
