omg again dengue reinfection is really serious incase of dengue fever pt might land in to dengue hemorrhagic shock which is highly fatal.. actually the virus has 4 strains infection with one type gives life long immunity subsequent ifection with diff strain cause severe complications like hemmorhage, low bp,shock etc. i think gc had other viral fever with low platelet count as many viral illness r associated with low platelet count .Edited by uvsss - 12 years ago
