Laxmi is all crying recollecting how harsh she was with her dad with Angad standing & observing her. She starts banging her hand on the bed side table when Angad comes & bangs both of her hands even harder! She screams & he says why shout when I am helping you hurt yourself. She cries that he wont understand her hurt. He is miffed & says that she is the one who is not understanding that things cannot be changed & she doesnt need to cry for it. She elaborates her dilemma that she actually is not convinced that her dad did the deed. He is angry that why did she throw him out of the house then as she should have tried to unearth the truth. He asks her to ponder on how to prove her dad's innocence & reinstate his respect in their house. She is so touched, she pulls him & gives him a hug, while thanking him for his support.
In the evening, Laxmi is cutting veggies in the kitchen when Kaaveri questions her rude & disrespectful behaviour with her own dad. She persists when Laxmi doesnt answer. Laxmi finally relents & recounts Shobna's words of err...wisdom...advice...veiled threat? Kaaveri is confused & deep in thought!
Shobna is making bed...huh she is doing chores?!! Kaaveri comes & wants clarifications as to why Shobna used Vijay's name to coerce Laxmi to send Kailash away. This infuriates Shobna who asks Kaaveri not to interfere in her family matters. She insults Kaaveri as well. Kaaveri is hurt & says she will not consider AnXmi as her son & DIL in future but what Shobna is doing is not right. She leaves & Shobna is happy that she killed 2 birds with a stone...hurt Laxmi & put Kaaveri in her right place.😡
Laxmi goes to her room where Angad is sleeping. She puts her hand on his head lovingly but realises he has high fever. She gets up to get medicines but he holds her hand & insists that she sit & talk to him. He admits that he often bluffs people by being chirpy & cool-calm-collected, but he doesnt always have an answer to all problems & is quite emotional too. He keeps this hidden, but somehow it got revealed in front of Laxmi. They share some blissful moments, when they hear Vijay shouting out for Angad furiously & insisting he come down immediately. Angad rushes down & enquires whats the matter. Vijay enquires is he dead that he took a major business decision without seeking his opinion. Angad sticks to his guns that he did the right thing by not paying commission to the govt officer, when Vijay blasts that because of that their bill wasnt approved & they are facing huge losses. The CVs are touching the anti corruption topic here with Angad representing the idealistics & Vijay being a typical businessman who can see nothing beyond profit even if it comes in wrong ways. Angad says that his thinking is different to Vijay's who construes it as a lack or respect. Vijay asks him not to help those who dont need his help. He tells a hurt Angad that he has broken all personal relations with him & doesnt want any association even in business sense. He calls Angad worthless. Laxmi, Kaaveri & Shobna who are standing witnessing this, feel Angad's humiliation.
At night, Vijay is on the phone trying to secure an appointment with the Govt official when Shobna comes & conveys her shock at his behaviour. She reminds him that Angad is their son. Vijay is peeved at Angad's betrayal of trust(hmm?this is a bit OTT) & asks Shobna not to interfere in what he is doing.
Angad is busy on his laptop in his own room & is plagued by Vijay's humiliating words. He is crying when Laxmi comes & also wipes his tears away. She doesnt want him to harbour bitterness against his dad. He however feels the need to protect his self respect & is shattered by the low faith Vijay has in his capabilities. He goes to Shobna-Vijay's room purposefully, with Laxmi in tow. Vijay is in no mood to hear any sort of explanations or even see his face. Angad says he knows & just wants to thank Vijay for voicing his true opinion of Angad but he cant live this sort of worthless life. Shobna tries to stop him, but Angad clearly says that he will go away to New Zealand forever with Laxmi. Shobna & Laxmi are shocked, while Vijay tries to act indifferent.
Precap: Shobna is telling Minu that Laxmi created a drift between Vijay-Angad, so she has all right to break Laxmi. She admits engineering Kailash's plight. Minu shakes her head while Laxmi who for once eavesdropped at the right time, is shocked.
