With Dil To Pagal Hai Shah Rukh Khan completed a triumphant hat-trick after Pardes and Yes Boss. This is also his third consecutive hit with the Chopras following Darr and Dilwale Dulhaniya...It ended a lean trot for Madhuri Dixit and was a morale boosting victory for Karisma Kapoor who had taken on a role nixed by Manisha Koirala, Juhi Chawla, Kajol and Urmila Matondkar who dropped out after shooting for a day.

Comeback The term should be abolished: Karisma KapoorNow Karisma Kapoor is excited about facing the camera again for "Dangerous Ishq" but cringes at the very mention of the word comeback.

"Pardon me, there's no comeback...What is the meaning of comeback? Do you have kids?" Karisma asked this IANS correspondent."If you had kids, and joined back journalism after having your baby, would you call it a comeback? No, right? Similarly for an actress...I'd just like to say that we are just like any other woman out there."We are as ordinary, as normal as everyone. We can go on a maternity leave, take a sabbatical, and come back to work. There is no comeback! This term should be abolished!" she added.

At 37, the glow on Karisma's face takes one back to the 1990s when she charmed the audience with her beauty in films like "Dil To Pagal Hai", "Raja Hindustani", "Hero No.1" and "Biwi No.1".Ask her about it and, like a true face of skin care cream Olay, she replied: "I think it's Olay!"

But upon prodding, she said: "Well, I think it's eating a lot of almonds - it's been a very family thing, and, yes, I also do yoga.

Granddaughter of legendary star Raj Kapoor, daughter of actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita, and the elder sister of Bollywood beauty Kareena, Karisma's last full-fledged Bollywood film was "Mere Jeevan Saathi" in 2006.In 2003, she married businessman Sanjay Kapur and gave birth to their first child, daughter Samaira, two years later. Her second child is a boy, Kiaan Raj Kapoor, born in March 2010. Karisma took time off from Bollywood for the sake of her children, and now she is set to scorch the screen once again.

She will be seen opposite model-turned-actor Rajneish Duggal in Vikram Bhatt's "Dangerous Ishq", in which she is known to be playing five different roles, in five different lifetimes."I can't talk much about the movie as it is in production stage. But obviously there was something in it that made me want to do it. It is something that I have not done till today. Touchwood, by the grace of god I have been able to do a variety of roles...So this was something of the next level."The film deals with something that intrigues people today and people are aware of it - it is something to do with past life regression...so it will be mystical and different for viewers to watch," she said.

The fit and fab lady also says she is glad to see the new crop of actresses be so fitness conscious."I would like to say that this whole fitness thing started in the film industry from me...from 'Dil To Pagal Hai' because it had that sporty, fit, very Shiamak Davar look. The transition came from there, and I am happy that my sister Kareena took it to another level," said Karisma.

If grapevine is to be believed, Karisma will also reprise veteran actor Hema Malini's role in the remake of the 1982 film "Satte Pe Satta", and she would also perform an item number in Sajid Khan's "Housefull 2".When asked to confirm, she said: "I can't comment."

Stepping away from the typical genre of movies, many directors have gone off the beaten path to show more realistic issues that affect today's community. On this Independence Day, BollyCurry brings you some of the controversial movies based on terrorism. Though mostly fictional, these movies show how terrorism can affect the lives of many and in what profound ways. So here's bringing you the Top 10 Bollywood Movies based on Terrorism:

Bombay
The Mani Ratnam directorial was released in Tamil in 1995 and later dubbed into Hindi. It tells the story of Shekhar (played by Arvind Swamy), a Hindu journalist, and Shaila (Manisha Koirala), a Muslim schoolgirl. The film focuses on their journey from falling in love in their village to their elopement to Bombay (now Mumbai) to their happy nuclear family. Just as they are trying to mend their relationship with their respective families, the religious tensions start escalating in Bombay putting their lives at stake. The latter half of the movie shows how the religious riots threatens the safety of their nontraditional family and how they cope when faced with the heinous acts of terrorism from both sides.

Dil Se
Another hard-hitting movie from Mani Ratnam, the Shahrukh Khan and Manisha Koirala starrer released in 1998. Though a romance, the film had strong ongoing themes of terrorism and politics. In the movie, Shahrukh plays the role of a simple Radio Jockey from Delhi who is sent to North-Eastern India to get attitudes of people there about India's upcoming 50th independence anniversary. There, he meets Meghna (played by Manisha) and falls in love with her. In the end, Meghna turns up in Delhi to attempt to assassinate the Prime Minister during the Republic Day parade in an act of terrorism. Even though Shahrukh saves the PM, the movie ends on a melancholic note showing how terrorism can touch even the most innocent of lives.

Sarfarosh
The 1999 film was releases amongst the midst of the Kargil conflict between India and Pakistan and focused on an Indian police officer, Ajay's (played by Aamir Khan) quest to stop cross-border terrorism. Ajay strives to do everything to curb terrorism when his elder brother is killed by terrorists and his father is severely beaten by them for agreeing to testify against the terrorists in a court of law. Once again, this movie showcases how even a minor act of terrorism has the most profound effects on numerous lives!

Mission Kashmir
The 2000 Vidhu Vinod Chopra release had Sanjay Dutt, Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta and Jackie Shroff in the main roles. The movie focuses on the story of Altaaf (Hrithik Roshan), a young boy whose family gets killed in the crossfire in a police raid against terrorists. Black Friday
Black Friday (2004) is based on a true story and the 1993 Mumbai bomb attacks that killed over 300. The film is shown through many perspectives of different characters and follows the investigations of those attacks. This, yet again allows the viewers to take a glimpse into the lives of each character and how the attack affects them all.

Dus
This multi starrer that released in 2005, is focused on a character named Altaf, a terrorist. The main leads, Sanjay Dutt, Esha Doel, Abhishek Bachchan, and Zayed Khan, all belong to India's Anti-Terrorist Cell and are determined to find Altaf which leads them to Canada and the Canadian Police Officer Danish [Suniel Shetty] who becomes an ally. The movie focuses on their journey to stop Altaf from causing some major terror.

A Wednesday
One of 2008's BO hits, A Wednesday was also based on terrorism starring Naseeruddin Shah, Anupam Kher, Jimmy Shergill and many others. This film however, expressed the annoyance of the public towards the government and their handling of the terrorist attacks. A common man then, decides to take matters into his own hands and take care of the terrorists himself.

New York
The 2009 Katrina-John and Neil starrer was based on the 9/11 attack in New York City. The movie showed how the attack changed the lives of the three leads as it had done for the rest of the world. Forced to become a terrorist due to becoming the victim of racism and the cruelties done by the officials, John's character Sam ends up destroying his life. Caught up in all the hatred are his wife and his best friend, who end up ruined by Sam's decisions!

Kurbaan
Next on our list is Kurbaan, the 2009 film that featured Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. The movie was based on terrorism in general and Saif's revenge from the US that killed his family once upon a time. A sleeper cell, an undercover agent and a heart broken used wife. This once again, focuses on how terrorism impacted the lives of the leads and numerous others in a negative way.

These were the Top 10 hard-hitting movies that took up the issue of terrorism. There are many more movies out there on this controversial issue. Go ahead and name some of your favorite movies as BollyCurry wishes you a very Happy Independence Day while urging you to be safe!
