I wont blame zee coz the main culprit is people who decides TRP and make a crap show best on TRP charts...gosh...what zee will do it has tendedcy to wrap the shows which are low on TRP list...after all they are inspired by scorpions...

TRP meters are kept in few houses and the TV viewership in those households are monitored.

BTW, the TRP meters last I heard was placed in about 8000 houses in the Hindi GEC*. Also I heard that they were going to increase it to 20000 (? or was it 12000) meters very soon(?)

* GEC = General Entertainment Channel. (For Reference: India is a country with a population of 1.2+billion, so we have to consider only the Hindi belt and also the households which do not have TV).

Regardless, it is just a sampling and taken as a source on which TV industry business relies on. For example, where there is more viewership, the 3rd party business would want their commericals played out during those slots and channels charge a bomb for a few seconds of commericals and earn money. This is just 1 side. I do not know what other things are there.

p.s: I am not from this industry and do not really know all the details. Some of the information, I have read, some just purely by my own understanding.

This was a week of filler episodes...

Zee, dekha aapne (did you see, Zee), what happens when you add namak to kheer like Kalsanwali once did?

Zee, here your interference is the salt and Bhagonwali is our kheer!!!!!!!!

Guddu, hamri taraf se Zee ko ek kaan ke neeche thappad laga dena, pleeejjj!
