Written Update May 23, 2011

The women are cooking in the kitchen. Sudha realizes that Jamna is making Raman's favorite dishes, Gulaal remembers and says that she forgot that the dishes were Raman's favorite despite helping Jamna since morning. Jamna taunts that nobody cares about Raman, when Kesar came everyone was in the kitchen happily cooking his favorite dishes, now nobody even remembers Raman's favorites, she tells everyone that Raman is returning to live with them. Sudha starts making something for Raman, Jamna asks her not to put on a show, Raman knows Sudha's real side. Gulaal offers to help Sudha and tells her that she is sure Raman will like her food.

Kesar is on his bike bringing Talli back after her exams. Talli tries to make conversation but Kesar ignores her. She asks him whether he will ask her how her exams went, he ignores her. In his side mirror he sees a milkman on another bike, and stops. The milkman takes another turn and leaves. (I think Kesar suspects that the milkman is following him - the milkman is probably the guy Dushyant asked to follow Kesar). Talli sees a restaurant (dhaba) and insists that they stop to eat. Kesar unwillingly agrees. Talli orders, Kesar refuses to eat. She insists but he refuses. She eats a bite and insists again, he refuses annoyed. She asks him whether he will not ask her how her exams went, he asks her just for the heck of it, she says that sometimes she thinks that Kesar does not care about her (in her demanding way), he is with her but he worries about someone else. Kesar gets really annoyed and starts looking around. She asks him whether his mind is joined with someone else and giggles. He gets mad, pays, and leaves telling her to come when she is done eating. Talli follows grabbing the fritters from her plate.

Talli goes to his bike and thanks him. He asks her the reason for thanking him. She tells him that he got the clothing for her that is why, what is he waiting for, he should give it to her since she cannot wait anymore. Kesar is shocked and annoyed, and tells her coldly that she is mistaken, that clothing is not for her. Talli feels bad and asks who it was for. Kesar flashbacks to his gifting it to Gulaal. Talli goes on that he should not lie, she knows everything. Kesar gets more irritated and asks her what does she know. Talli says leave it, no point in discussing with Kesar, and tells him that he should get an exactly similar one for Gulaal, she will like it a lot. Kesar tells her that he doesn't need to learn from her what he needs to do. Talli goes on that he is stupid and she needs to explain everything to him, Gulaal is lonely after Vasant's death and nobody gets her any gift. Kesar asks her to keep quiet and sit on the bike. She says what if she doesn't sit, then she calms down and tells him that she is just asking him to get it for Gulaal. Kesar interrupts and says that he will ask her for the last time, will she sit on the bike or he will leave. She asks him if he will leave without her, and continues that Gulaal was right about Kesar... before she can complete Kesar leaves. (OMG, this girl is just too much, she doesn't know when to stop. She goes on and on, and this is all Gulaal's fault. Because of Gulaal she thinks that she has full right over Kesar and talks like that, regardless of Kesar's feelings). Talli feels upset and walks home alone. She flashbacks to her praising the clothing in front of clothing and his buying it, and then to Kesar's telling her that it is not for her.

Kesar rides back in a lot of anger and flashbacks to Gulaal's nominating Dushyant and Raman's words. (This bomb is about to burst, and about time. He has been holding it in for years). At sundown Kesar reaches the village and buys alcohol, he starts drinking from the bottle right at the shop. He drowns the entire bottle.

Sudha, Talli, and Gulaal are in the room, Sudha is angry with Kesar's leaving Talli. Gulaal tells her she will speak to him, Talli tells her no need, its useless, nobody knows what is going on in Kesar's mind. Gulaal asks her if she said anything to him, Talli says no. Talli tells her that she knows how Kesar is, Gulaal replies that she thought she knew him but not anymore. Sudha and Gulaal leave for dinner.

Jamna happily brings dinner for Raman in his room. He tells her that he will come downstairs, she tells him that in front of everyone she would not be able to feed him with her hands. He must have eaten bad food in prison. She feeds him with her hands.

Gulaal is in her room worried about Kesar. (Honestly I am tired of seeing the same flashbacks over and over and over). Gulaal shuts the windows and doors, Kesar opens her door and stands there in agony asking her why she ignored him in the morning. Gulaal is shocked to see him drunk and asks him why when she asked him not to. She asks him what is wrong with him. He tells her that he wants to ask her the same thing, what is wrong with her. Gulaal is surprised and asks him to be clear about what his problem is. She calms down and asks him to go to his room, when she tries to shut her door, he catches hold of her shoulders and looks deep into her eyes in agony and tells her that Gulaal is his problem, he continues repeating to her that she is his problem. She stares at him with slight tears in her eyes.

Precap: Tears fall from Kesar's eyes and he tells Gulaal that he wants to ask her a question, not one but several questions, the same questions that his eyes ask her repeatedly, only she can answer his questions. (I could not hear the remainder because of the loud music).
