Nikunj, who is currently doing Geet on Star One, has been a fashion designer before she entered the industry as one of the probable 'brides' of Rahul Mahajan for a reality show. She understands fashion in and out. She shares her fashion preferences with TellyChakkar.
Fashion is: What makes you stand out!
Who chooses your clothes? I am a fashion designer, so obviously I do.
Do you wear accessories? I wear a lot of them. I have this huge collection of jewellery, where I have 200 necklaces.
Do you follow any brands? I feel it's never about the brand it's always about the piece that suits you. If you look good in a particular piece of clothing, it need not be branded. So I do not follow brands.
Favourite shopping destination: Actually, none. I hate shopping though I have this huge collection of clothes and jewellery but I never go for shopping per se. If I am out with my friends and I happen to see something nice and if it suits me I pick it up.
Most expensive buy: I had bought this beautiful Bottega Veneta bag for Rs 22,000.
Clothes you are comfortable in: I am comfortable in anything that fits me well because I am size zero so everything doesn't fit me well. Usually, I prefer t-shirt and jeans.
Favourite designer: I think Neeta Lulla makes pretty stuff. Internationally, I like Dolce and Gabbana. And, I feel no one understands a woman's body better than Tom Ford.
Must-have in your wallet: I always carry these rose petals and a dhaga from Ajmer Sharif that I had received as a souvenir.
Favourite perfume: Davidoff Cool Water and Calvin Klein.
Colour that fills your wardrobe: Black and blue.
