Hello friends, after watching today's episode I was really touched by the emotions that were conveyed so nicely through expressions and good dialogues. This is the touch of SGP. I am so happy that it was a much better episode than yesterday's. 😃

Anyways what I really want to talk to you about is Manju Aunty and Suhana.

Manju Aunty, the Kashyap's neighbour. She's a larger than life character who loves to be in the centre of every situation. Her mission in life is to get her beautiful Bubbly a beautiful husband. 😆Of course her eyes are set for Suhana's devar!! However, our Suhana's has vowed not to allow that happen!

Suhana and MA share a very strange relationship. At their 1st acquintance, MA was taken aback by how strongly Suhana fought for the Kashyaps because no one had the audacity to stand up to her before that! At every given opportunity she has to come to the Kashyap's residence with either

a complaint a concern for a neighbour
• some food for Deepak, etc etc.

Of course that means a meeting with Suhana with whom she loves to fight, verbally of course!! MA cannot believe that the Kashyap's new bahu could give her a taste of her own medicine. It seems she actually enjoys these cat fights with Suhana because she comes back again and again.

It appears as though these reasons are just pretence. They hide the true reason and that is MA has developed a fondness for for Suhana's feisty nature. Perhaps she sees a mere reflection of a "younger MA". Perhaps she too behaved like Suhana in her early days of sasuralhoood.

She likes that Suhana doesn't pretend to be nice her in front of her. She likes that Suhana is straight forward with her tells her how it is, without flinching. She will not stand anyone saying anything against the Kashyaps (righfully so!). I am sure MA is fully aware of what the neighbourhood thinks of her but she knows they all behave well in front of her to aviod quarrels. Not Suhana! She doesn't hide. MA knows that whatever she says, Suhana will be able to answer it, even better than her, that too in English!!😆

Suhana too has shown that she does care for MA when she said its not nice to play with someone's emotions. She quibbles with her but she does care. These two ladies really do share a uniquely beautiful bond!!

Whatever it is, it really dipicts how a complete stranger can take a special place in your heart without you even knowing that it has happened. The reaction she gave in realising Suhana's ill health was evident of the love and care she has for her, deep in her heart. She was in denial thinking "how can this happen?". How can this girl who I argue with have a brain tumour? Her shock and sadness was conveyed through her moist eyes and broken voice. For the 1st time she said something nice about Suhana! She said Suhana has a "beautiful smile". Then she rushed out of the room to go the temple to pray for this stranger who has somehow become her own. This is the beauty of a mutual relationship. This classic SGP moment I cherish so deeply, it minds me why I love it. Thankyou SGP for that moment. 😃

This is such a relatable relationship in an Indian neighborhood, at least in the late 90's it was still like this even in our neighborhood, before people became too "private". Privacy to an extent is necessary, but you have to live in an Indian neighborhood to understand these relationships.. Petty fights, exchanging of recipes, helping each other in times of crisis, laughing together, crying together and fighting together..

These are the positives that this show is projecting so well. There are thousands of shows projecting the negative stuff, but SGP is SGP, different and positive and love it for that..

About Suhana-MA relationship, both great actors (though of a different genre) by the way, what you ppl have said is so true.. Deep down they are so similar, people with a golden heart, never wanting to hurt others, and hence the strong bonding and understanding
