Endemol India no longer part of Vaidehi; Sanaya and Abhas roped in

Star Plus' Vaidehi will now be produced by Four Lions Films and Panglosean Entertainment..

The shoot of Star Plus' upcoming show, 'Vaidehi' is finally going on floor from next week!!

However, this comes after the show sees some new developments in terms of its Producers. Endemol India will no more be part of the project, and Four Lions Films will now join hands with Rajesh Chadha's Panglosean Entertainment to produce it.

A little birdie tells us, "Four Lions Films and Endemol India have in fact given a successful show in Geet Hui Sabse Parayi. However, certain production issues and frictions brought about this development. Endemol India is no longer co-producing it, and Panglosean Entertainment, makers of the ongoing show Yeh Ishq Haaye have stepped in now".

We tried calling Gul Khan of Four Lions Films but she remained unavailable.

We could not get thro' to Rajesh Chadha of Panglosean Entertainment too.

In the meanwhile, there is some good news for the fans of Sanaya Irani as she has been confirmed as the female lead.

For the uninitiated, TellyBuzz was the first to report that Sanaya was tipped to play the lead in Vaidehi. We hear that a new face Aanchal Singh was also short listed, but it is the popular Sanaya who ultimately bags the meaty role.

Our source further states, "Abhaas Mehta who is presently seen in COLORS' Na Aana Is Desh Laado will play the negative lead on the show. He will play a lawyer who is very positive initially, but will show his colors as the story progresses. Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani will play the leads, while the search for the male lead's sister is still on".

We tried contacting Sanaya and even dropped a text message, but she remained unavailable.

Vaidehi is scheduled to go on floors from coming Monday. And it will replace Directors' Kut's Chand Chupa Badal Mein at the 8 PM slot from the last week of May.

I posted this article because I was just wondering about this new tiff between Endemol and Star Plus. If we want SLB2, then this is not a good sign for us. (as you know SLB was coproduced by Endemol n another production company) What do you think ?

I read the article the other day; but didn't think about a possibility of it effecting SLB2. Hope there isn't any rift between SP and the production house.
