Why does Mona cares so much that Hetal marries Karan ..

.Mona's reaction and insistence that she should make Hetal and Karan marry each other is very weird. Neither Karan or Hetal is doing anything to marry each other both of them are adults. Only person anxious to make this happen is Mona. I

Come on, match making is in the Indian blood lol. This her sister-in-law and brother. She obviously wants both to be happy. I don't think her isistence is weird. Plus, Karan-Hetal love story is similar to her and Anu's.

I'm just glad somone is trying to help those two I mean Karal is so cute together and Mona is like baby cupid to them I just want thme to express their love , Mona is like the on person that understands them

Mona and her family is constantly being abused by Anukalap's family. They taunt her all the time and she has to take it, she cannot tell them to shut up and stop abusing her, she is getting abuse for being alive and being born as punjabi and marrying their son..sick racists. The Gujju family clearly hates punjabis and they are driven by this hate and abuse Mona all the time. Mona is stupid to let Gujju girl marry her brother. These are not good people, they are number one control freaks and abusers.

As a punjabi I am very offended the way Gujju women abuse Mona for being a Punjabi and according to some weird gujju sanskar Mona has to take the abuse.

In my opinion people who abuse are horrible but one who takes abuse is worse. Every human being be it daughter in law have or a servant, has right to dignity and equality. The abuse Mona puts up with on daily basis is making me sick...if these are Indian sanskar to put up with abuse then I have no respect for saskari families..

After daily dose of abuse Mona gets, she should back off or go back to her punjabi family and let gujjus abuse each other. Gujju joint family is family from hell, no sane person can live with them and keep their sanity.

^^I agree with you that this Amabji , Baa, Phui are racists and control freaks. It offends me and makes me angry too when I see cultures being abused or ridiculed regardless it is Punjabi or any other culture. I thought Ambaji would improve...but no.

I do not agree with you about sanskars in India, they are good and I do not think it is the way they are showing for this Gandhi family.

I do not like this Gandhi family but I do not have anything against Gujju culture.

Female infanticide, dowry seeking from brides family as if the girl is burden and glorifying males gender are number one sanskar.

I cringe everytime Baa, Phui and Ambaji abuse insult punjabi's. Mona should see this and never ever ask Karan to marry Hetal. Karan should never ever marry in racist family run by racist domineering women.

Love dies if one has to take insults and abuses that is reality of life. Taking these kind of insults for anybody regardless of who it is is unhealthy and not right thing to do, it leads to depression and mental problems.

Mona has to realize that any family that insult and abuse you on daily basis and nobody stands up can never ever be your family. Mona has taken a role of somebody who is lowest in hierarchy and should be verbally punched and abused if anything goes wrong in the house. The whole sanskar business is bs.

I don't understand sanskar in which Mona an adult has to ask permission to go out of the house, she cannot visit her family across the street without permission, she is living under a house arrest, with Ambaji, Phui and Baa as her abusive jailers. Anukalap allows all the three jailers to abuse his wife and her culture on daily basis to prove his love for Ambaji and his extended family.
