Life is not simple for our telly bahus the becharis of the idiot box have to battle scheming mothers-in-law,bear the shock of husbands dying and getting resurrected,and then there is always the job of keeping their hubbies away from the vamps changul.But hey,whos complaining They do a wonderful job.And all the while,they are dressed in their best! Be it at night,when they are spying on their hubby whos secretly texting some other girl,or when their saasu ma and badi mummies ask them to cook a meal for 20 people in the house,and even when they get up in the morning,when they dutifully carry that tray of tea and namkeen ... These bahus are the only babes in this torturous world fighting all the problems of their tricky lives,armed only with heavily-sequinned chiffon saris,a pallu covered head,and nine layers of heavy make-up.
So the blistering heat of May and June be damned,or the 7 am morning duties of a devoted wife count on these dutiful beauties in their five inch heels,50 or more golden bangles and neckcovering kundan sets to always watch over their pyaari families.Hail the Indian bahus of Tellywood!
