Can some one tell actual name of Ramapati.....

I want to know the Actual name of  character RAMAPTI....Sumedha's Father in Serial AKBA......I'm lil bit confuse....Is he Actor Manav Gohil who started his career from Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki after that he came in many serial. He was one of the presenters in the Indian television show, Fame Gurukul which ended on 20 October 2005.he is really very good actor....and actor who plays character of Ramapti is doing awesome acting in this serial.....
