On the 14th position for the most romantic Mayank-Nupur scene is definitely the Khuda Jaane rain dance sequence when Mayank Sharma was totally mesmerized by and lost in Nupur Bhushan. It was utterly romantic as he walked towards her, awed by her innocence and beauty and she forces him to dance with her. Though reluctantly at first, he does give in to her. What follows is a mesmerizing display of romance and beauty.

In the end of the dance we see Mayank kind of surrender to his feelings [which he later blames as desert island syndrome] for Nupur.

A special mention to Arjun & Rati, who made the dance so beautiful and lovely, that it looked no less than a Bollywood movie. Ranbir-Deepika, who?

The Jaage Jaage song sequence was romantic because it showed Mayank finally accepting that he was deeply in love with Nupur. It was a dreamy song sequence with him seeing the love of his life everywhere. The serenity that the color white provided also represented the innocence and sweetness of the love he held for her.

Once again, I must say this scene also looked like one from a super amazing Bollywood movie. My nautanki couple! 😳

Could any barn scene be more adorable, cute, sweet and utterly romantic? To a person new to Mayank & Nupur, this scene is enough to make anyone fall in love with this beautiful couple. Nupur, who always showed an outwardly dislike towards Mayank told him, in a drunken state that he wasn't all that bad. She praised his body [Ghajini ka Aamir], his dancing and hisblushing [Juhi Chawla]. Mayank can't help and smile at the nautankipan and innocence of the beautiful girl in front of him. They get caught in an innocent eye-lock and she goes to sleep holding his hands. This scene opens up the true feelings of Nupur's heart- that she doesn't actually hate Mayank.

The first touch, the first rain encounter [post confession] and the first proper hand holding. All these are moments that remain in a person's memories forever. Such romantic moments which are just so goddamn memorable. Perhaps one of the best scenes of season 2, this Mayank-Nupur scene has such a shivery feel to it. Mayank's soothing caress across Nupur's arms and cheeks not only melts her completely breaking all the walls she had built around her, it also melts all of us in our seats. We re-wind watch it, re-wind watch it and so on. It's such a scintillating and breathtaking scene. That one scene confirms all our doubts and tells us that YES, this is our very own Nupur Bhushan Sharma as you can see how Mayank's touch affects her...badly. All the barriers she built around her come crashing down in one minute...with that tender caress of Mayank.

Arjun & Rati crossed all expectations in this scene, their expressions were perfect, sensuous, loving, romantic....PERFECT. ❤️

Nupur is devastated after her father disowns her, while Mayank is worried about his and Nupur's future. He wants to be a good husband, he wants his wife to have a home to go to. Nupur forgets all her sadness and entwines her hand with his to give him support and tell him that she is happy as long as he's with her and together they'll overcome all the barriers and prove to Bauji that their love is right, and that Mayank is right for her.
