Indian television

scene is under a close scanner now by people from all walks of life. Be it the supreme court or a Bollywood celebrity, or a roadside tea seller watching Kaun Banega Crorepati. Never before has television been touching as many lives as it does in this day.

Ekta Kapoor's bandwagon of serials have finally given way to refreshing plots and serials across all channels. Be it a Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo or a Saas Bina Sasural, there continues to be the talk about marriage and love stories, but mercifully no more about in-laws-only!

Having being warmed and them bombed with serials on nagging mothers and their daughter-in-laws in not so long away time period, the past six months have seen a sea change here.

Now we have the lead heroine on television, decked up as always, but cracking jokes and even fighting it out against established mindsets. These women do not irritate you, and, if they do, it is not related to the saas-bahu saga

anymore.

Some examples in this vein, apart from the ones given above, are, Armanon Ka Balidan and Krishnaben Khakrawala. The shows invite a viewership from across all kinds and age groups of people' thankfully!

yes its true ekta kapoor serials are no more super hits like before.audience giving chance to others.

I wish jpsya was there n was nt replaced by pkyek. Guyz dey can show many things without ending. Prolly jai's return!!!! Or veesha n nihals trip to shimla n getting pammi chowksi n mrs dixit in. Bt dey ended it :( dey cn show kamini turning gud. N veeshas kid n nandini ayesha bonding......... The list goes on.
