opti, that's the fact of life and the beauty of the story. I am thinking from the story's POV. Maan did a bad thing today out of extreme anger and pain and he will feel sorry from now on try to reason things out. He needed to burst out too.

Imagine maan as an erupting volcano all along when geet stopped the lava from erupting. Then geet's disbelief was kind of a snowfall in that huge mountain that made it cold and white. The only way to melt the ice and to let the pain free is to burst out. The bursting releases the pain and the lava melts the ice. Am i a little clearer now?

I know what you mean but this is the explanation which our sane minds give. What they showed us was completely different. Not for once was Maan shown to be upset about Geet's lack of trust in him. It was about her saying that she can do without him. So the issue here is about his ego and not about Geet not trusting her enough. So I cannot empathise with him right now. They should have brought in that trust issue. Would have made this eruption more comprehendable and I still cant get it that it has to take all this while to burst.

Yash: I did not watch the show from the beginning and for a long time was not a regular viewer ... so have no proper sketch of the character in my mind. If they indeed trying to show what you are saying in your post, they better better pen down a good screen-play and give the scenes a continuity.
