Part 1
Kabir asks his folks to accept Roshni as a part of this family. CS angrily asks him whether he realizes what he's asking for, and what society calls a person in the situation that Roshni is in. This time, Sumer contradicts her, and tells her that since Kabir has accepted her as his daughter, she's now Sumer's neice, and more important than blood is a relationship of the heart (So one heist imparts all of Jyoti's bhashanesque wisdom to Sumer? Wah!!! 😆) He warns CS against insulting Roshni from now on 😲 CS tells him to in that case close his ears and leave. Sumer tells her that neither he nor Roshni are going anywhere. CS mocks him for disrespecting his elders (CS, there's nobody who deserves less respect than you do - you're right down there w/ Pankaj) While his father was quiet, Sumer read her his decision? She asks the mayor why he's not saying anything?
RP tells Kabir & Jyoti that regardless of what they think, the name of this kid would be tied to Pankaj Vashist. So how can she live w/ the Sisodia family? CS agrees, and says that in future, if this kid starts to weigh in on matters of the Sisodia family, this is what Vikrant's kid (which CS herself refuses to acknowledge) and Raghuveer's kid (incidentally, where's Raghuveer?) will be asking. That's why it's better that they make a decision about the future right now - as to whether this kid lives here, or not.
The 3 bahus go up to Jyoti in a show of support, while Kabir tells RP that while RP may be having trouble coming to a decision, Kabir is bound by the promise he made. If Roshni can't live there, neither will the 2 of them. He then is about to lead Jyoti out, but RP stops him sternly, and says nobody's going anywhere. He then goes into the BS about girls being Lakshmi avatars (that's certainly not true of Harmukhi, Bhairavi, Padma & Sushma in this serial) and how girls always find refuge in this family, so how can she go away, blah blah blah? He then orders that Roshni be honorably welcomed into the family. Everyone is happy, except CS & Vikrant.
RP then thinks to himself that someone correctly said that he who loses to noone loses to his own. Had Kabir left, RP's political career would have gone w/ it (although I'd think Sumer would now be capable of handling things if it came to that, since Jyoti's wisdom has osmotically ended up w/ him 😆)
Later, when Jyoti & Kabir are alone, Jyoti goes up to him and he tells her that he supported her every step of the way, and didn't expect this from her - where was he falling short that she didn't tell him about Pankaj & Roshni? Didn't she trust him? Jyoti tells him that she was wrong, and that she too is human. Just as he couldn't tell bapusa about her kid due to fear of losing her, similarly she became weak. She tells him that Pankaj had frightened her so much that she had decided that once things return to normal, she'd tell Kabir everything. She was wrong, and yet Kabir... Kabir tells her that he kept his word to stand by her in happy & sad times, and asks why she took all these steps alone? Jyoti tells him that previously, she thought that all his statements were just that, but today she saw something divine in him. Kabir asks him to tone it down, since their baby is asleep, and Jyoti is happy that he considers Roshni theirs. Kabir then wonders how a father (meaning Pankaj) can say such things about his daughter?
Part 2
Jyoti tells Kabir that Pankaj was a fraud - when there was no other way to get her, she tried to separate Jyoti from Kabir by using Roshni as a pawn. She tells him that Roshni is fine, and that she no longer has anything to do w/ Pankaj - this is her family.
Reshmi is playing w/ Jeet when Vikrant joins them. He grabs her by the hair, and tells her that he'd have given his name to Jeet had she told Kabir that Jyoti was cheating on him (Vikrant, that would have been of no use - Kabir wouldn't have believed it, he'd have believed Jyoti anyway, regardless of what Reshmi had told him) But by telling Kabir the whole truth, Reshmi cheated Vikrant, and caused his mom to be insulted in front of everybody. Now she's bound to be punished. Reshmi tells him that he can do what he likes, but she can't cheat Jyoti-didi. Vikrant angrily lets go of her hair, gets up & notices the candles on the shelf. He grabs Reshmi, picks up the candle and drops hot wax on her hand 😡 while Reshmi cries in pain. He asks Reshmi whether she thinks that by being forced into a marriage, he's become her hubby? (So Vikrant now picks up where Sumer left off?) He then throws her to the floor & leaves the room, leaving Reshmi crying, telling her she'll regret having married him.
Next morning, RP tells Kabir that although the election has been postponed, their work should not be. He then looks up and sees someone. Kabir turns around, and it's Pankaj, holding a bag (of presumably Roshni's stuff) Kabir says it's Pankaj, and CS asks Pankaj Vashist?
Part 3
Sumer notes that this was the guy who created a scene for the family, and demands to know how Pankaj dared come? He's about to assault Pankaj (Go, Sumer bhaisa 👏) but Kabir restrains him, telling him that he can't see, and that even if an enemy comes, they shouldn't insult him. He asks Pankaj why he came? Pankaj tells him that he's brought some clothes & meds of Roshni, and came to drop it w/ them.
Sumer tells him to leave, and Pankaj says that he's leaving the city, and wants to meet Roshni one last time, if they have no objections. Kabir signals his approval, but Sumer tells Pankaj not to misuse Kabir's generousity. He tells Pankaj to end his drama and leave, or that he himself will evict Pankaj from the city (I love the old Sumer re-targetting the existing villains, like Pankaj & Chachi-sa. Hope he turns against Vikrant next - that'll be a hoot!!) Jyoti hands over Roshni to Kabir, who hands her to Pankaj as she says 'Papa' on seeing him 😭 Pankaj tells Roshni that papa is leaving, and to stay w/ mummy.
RP tells Pankaj that he behaved like a monster w/ their bahu 👏 but despite that, they allowed him to meet his daughter. However, now he should leave. Pankaj tells Jyoti to take care of her, and that she doesn't have much time left. Jyoti sternly tells him that there's nothing wrong w/ her daughter. Pankaj tries to tell her that he knows she doesn't believe what he says, but she can verify it... Sumer interrupts him, tells him to shut up & leave. Pankaj hands her back to Kabir, and crying, asks them to save her, since he won't be able to meet her after today. He then thanks them for allowing him to meet his kid, and tells Jyoti that she can save their daughter. He then leaves.
Jyoti & Kabir are in their room emptying Roshni's bag. Among the things is a hospital file, and both Jyoti & Kabir look @ it, and @ each other. Kabir opens it and sees leukemia, and tells Jyoti it's a cancer (it's not rare, as Pankaj said yesterday) Kabir realizes that everything Pankaj was telling them about Roshni's illness was true.
Promo to the previous episode😆🤣

A reasonably good episode, except for that tortuous scene of Vikrant dropping hot wax on Reshmi's arm. So he's the new Sumer? Hopefully, unlike Asha, Reshmi tells Jyoti and others what he's doing to her.
Glad that Jyoti & Kabir discussed it, and when Pankaj visited, Jyoti kept her distance from him. It was nice to hear Sumer as his old self, but first reading CS the riot act, and then Pankaj, as well as RP giving him a bhashan. Hopefully, that's the last we've seen of him in this serial
As for Roshni's illness, Kabir would do well to get her checked again in another hospital for a 2nd opinion, since this doc was willing to do too many things in return for Pankaj greasing him. Once that's determined, they can move along. In the meantime, Jyoti & Kabir should work towards their baby - not as a marrow donor for Roshni, but as their own genuine pyar ka nishani (it's been a while since we last heard that)
Since elections are postponed, looks like Kabir will have more time for home.
Episode rating: 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
👍🏼: Sumer opposing CS for the first time (was almost like Brij vs Bhairavi) and reading Pankaj the riot act, Jyoti apologizing to Kabir
👎🏼: Vikrant torturing Reshmi
