The beloved doctor, lover of Riddhima, a dear friend, etc etc etc. This character is a CULT figure amongst the teenagers and youth.

Cult figures actions and reactions create huge impact. armaan's also do......... It is quite amazing how his 30 missed calls created a rage. Cute indeed cute.

He wrote his lovers name in his blood etc etc etc  And he does comes across as the most sauve and charming net net the greatest lover and all that everyone makes out of him 

Let me tell you a real incident of a friend Last month I attended his father's funeral and soon .......... hope not

This person a fun guy great friend, excellent in all aspects.............But

He was in a relationship with a girl whose parents did not agree....... he was sooo disturbed that he used to remove frustration at home Has attempted suicide 3 times His performance has suffered His father was feeling let down and that he has let his son down committed suicide Some days back he message me Aaj mere pyaar ki barsi hai ......... it was his anniversary actually

He is glorifying his loss .........so much that he lost his father, his mother lost her husband and sister lost a father / guardian leave alone the other extended family

No but from what I see that is the glory of love

But yes ............. this is the glory of lovers......... How cute he cut his wrist to write her name (he did that before passing out and rushed to the hospital)........... consumed poison cause he could not think of anyone else.......... Eternal Lover he is indeed.

He can become a huge motivator for the lovers of this generation That in today's day and age there are still armaans in real life ..................... On a serious note do you girls want his number Can pass it on He may use you and you can have a armaan in real life But yes he is still crazy about his ex girlfriend You can be his Shilpa

This is what I understand from the serial and character of armaan

The character traits that the writer said are of armaan actually  mention something quite different from what portrayed. No actually what the writer said is true armaan is still in character ........... then why do some feel he is being negative and pyschotic only now .............. Because armaan became a cult figure back then hence all his actions were how cute how romantic ................The character traits went unnoticed.

Net Net I understand one thing ........... To achieve the glory of love ............. I need to be a armaan ( my pain my love and desires need to be glorified and also as the writer said he is anti establishment, used all means including lying etc etc etc check the interview yourself for reference) BOTTOM LINE - Be a LATENT BEAST 

That is what WOMEN LIKE - LATENT BEASTS

Treat them like objects, push shove them, dump them if you feel you might lose them, etc etc etc

This is the glory of love and glory of armaan

Or is it further glorification of a cult figure and their love.......... Think............. I hope we do not need to attend many funerals

My friend's age is 28yrs Wonder what effect such portrayal has on teenagers

This incident is completely true PLEASE DO NOT HUMOR IT

Please note I am not blaming this incident on the serial or any one associated with the serial Just trying to understand how movies and serials have such a huge impact on human's life and thinking Maybe that is why the responsibility is greater for both the makers and viewer.

 And this is exactly why this sort of "love" can never be love for me. Love protects, heals and nurtures. It isn't love when it destroys somebody's sanity, prompts them to try and end their life, and destroys families. Something as destructive and obsessive as that can never be love.

If you really would like to find people like armaan and my friend really great people Then I shall be glad to pass on his details ......You cannot be his Riddhima but you can be his Shilpa He can use you to satisfy his needs and dump you for his Riddhima............

And since he does not have remorse much for his father death I don't think you should expect any thought for your parents either ...........

Now be happy along with the person you named (i don't know ksg hence will not comment) you have one more person like armaan in this world

They do not respect themselves and thus they cannot respect others ........ Sid is also one of those he accepted it that I do not respect myself that is why no one respects me

Respect needs to be commanded........ Riddhima at this juncture be anything but when she was in the tent or on the honeymoon she did not respect Sid as an individual as a husband ......if she had everything would have come naturally for her............ Not forced whatever the reasons ............ I will stop justifying Riddhima's actions after what happened yesterday

Sid needs to put his foot down........... As for armaan he can never be good ........cause in totality a persons natural characteristics remain the same ........they can turn new leaf but then there also the natural characteristics will continue to remain dormant So in effect Riddhima may sober armaan but he will dormant beast will wake up at any given instigation......

Best example - Raavan was a nice man learned great devotee excellent king at least to his subjects but had a dormant beast ........which woke up ultimately armaan is nice but has a dormant beast in him ( I dont say this the writers have themselves mentioned this there is a latent beast in armaan)
