ashita dhawan, popularly known as Malti on the small screen, got emotional recently when she Varr Dhundo.

"They gave me a brief about my character and I liked it a lot, so I gave them a confirmation. The day I signed the papers, the creative team narrated the concept of the show and when I heard the story of the dwarf girl, I had tears in my eyes," she says. People around her started teasing her for getting so emotional.

"They called me meena kumari!' she says. "But I loved the story and congratulated the team for coming up with something so unique."
