Behenein October 1st Written Update
Akaashi, Gomti Aunty, and Rashmi are making achaar, and Smriti comes and sees them, and thinks about what Karan was saying about Shamal pretending to be nice. Just then they all see her and Akaashi goes up to hug Smriti and the two sit down to talk. Smriti says she has to talk to Akaashi about something, and just when she is about to start speaking, Shamal comes home. Akaashi gets up seeing Shamal, asking him why he's home so early and he says that he wasn't feeling well, and Akaashi gets really worried and tells him to go rest. Smriti is watching and thinking that this is the first time that she's seeing Akaashi helping someone, so selflessly, and that she can't possibly tell her the truth now. Smriti gets up to leave, just telling Akaashi to go take care of Shamal.
Purva is consoling Anokhi, telling her that Mihir and Bhavesh have gone out and they will find out something or the other about Jigna's death and accident. Right then the two men walk inside the house and Purva and Anokhi run up to them. Anokhi asks Bhavesh a lot of questions, whether they found out anything or not, why jigna went there, and Bhavesh starts yelling at her, screaming STOP IT! These questions are haunting me, they're giving me so much pain. MiRva watch silently as Bhavesh then apologizes, and leaves.
Smriti comes home and starts to walk away when Karan walks up to her and says that he understands what she's going through, that Akaashi and her must have had a fight after she told her the truth, and Smriti says she didn't tell her sister anything. Karan looks shocked, and asks why. Smriti says that if Karan had been there, had seen Akaashi and Shamal together, then he wouldn't want to reveal the truth either. And says that she doesn't want to ruin Akaashi-Shamal's relationship because Jigna's already dead. That they both won't say anything, and if the police find out then they find out.
Bhavesh looking at his sister's picture and crying, thinking about all these memories with her. Right then Mihir knocks on the door and Bhavesh turns around, dropping a cell. Both of them see that there's an unread voice message and see that it's another message from Jigna. She's telling him that this cell phone is for Bhavesh because he won't have time to talk to her after he's married. Right then, she gets a phone call, where she tells someone that she remembers that she has to meet them at 7 pm at some mall, and from there she'll go to Bhavesh's engagement. Bhavesh and Mihir look at each other after listening to this, and that that place is near the city bridge. And says that this is an important clue.
Akaashi looking at saris and Rashmi comes in wanting a dupatta or a sari for some decoration. They both go to the almari and Rashmi sees the black piece from Jigna's sari and takes it out, making the picture fall out too, and tells Akaashi that it's a really pretty piece. Akaashi gets really nervous and makes some excuse about it being from a dupatta and sees that the picture of Jigna's dead body is on the ground. She gets really nervous and quickly takes the picture away and soon after Rashmi leaves. Akaashi grabs the picture and the black sari piece and goes into the kitchen to burn it. Suddenly someone is behind her and she turns around shocked to see…..
Shamal! He grabs the picture and the sari piece and looks at them intently, and all the flashbacks come back to him, of that night, of the funeral, etc. He asks this is the sari from Jigna's sari right? And Akaashi starts to say no when he turns around and yells at her. He yells at her some more and forces her to say the truth Shamal asks her where she got the sari piece and is literally crying and Akaashi tells him she found it on the taxi when they were cleaning, and it was the same sari that Jigna was wearing. Akaashi is crying as she tells him that that's how she saw that he was the one that hit Jigna and didn't tell him because she didn't want to lose him. Shamal slaps her.
Shamal looks at his hand and goes hitting it in the wall, screaming Why didn't you tell me the truth? And is completely crying! She turns him around and says that no one would believe him if he told the truth to everyone! They would all think that he made the mistake. He has a family, and they all depend on him. She yells that she'll hide this truth forever. Shamal just looks at her for a while before turning around to walk away and Akaashi runs behind him, crying out his name, and grabs him forcefully, grabbing his collar and yells at him. She screams that he didn't do anything, and he pushes her away and runs upstairs, closing and locking the door behind him. Akaashi is on the other side, crying saying that she won't leave until he opens the door. Both of them just slide down to the ground on the opposite sides of the floor and are crying.
Precap: Akaashi looks around and doesn't see Shamal, and goes around the house looking for him, yelling out his name!
