CHIGGY WIGGY FOREVER
"Maan Sir, Jaldi keejiye. Hum late ho jayenge"
Maan looked at the mirror. He had donned a golden sherwani tagged with
memories. Brij had gifted him this outfit. Maan didn't want to go. It would shatter
him....but he had no choice.
Geet burst into the room rapidly blabbering "Maan, Can u stop the narcissistic
contemplation of your reflection. We are already late. It's my brother's big day
and I don't wanna miss even a second of it"
With a heavy heart and a chained soul Maan drove to the venue of the event. He
was engaged to Geet and had dashed all Brij's hopes. And today Brij was having
his swayamvar.
"Welcome to BRIJ'S SWAYAMVAR Maan Sir!" Adi beamed at him standing
under the bower of cornflowers.
Past remembrances were unleashed within Maan seeing those flowers. He remembered Brij tucking one of those lovely flowers behind his ear. Those had been the best days on his life....with Brij...in their favorite CHANNE KE KHET!
This swayamvar was an impulse of Brij's on his rebound from Maan. Maan wished he could ease away brij's pain, tickle his stubble and whisper into his ears..."Khottey..Twada smile kinna sona hain!"
Maan felt Geet hold his arm and lead him in. His eyes were in a quest of their own. Where was Brij???
Suddenly the atmosphere stilled...except for the barking dogs. Maan closed his eyes. Yes! He could feel Brij's presence....that nauseating cologne could only belong to Brij. He wheeled
around and saw Brij make an entry.
Brij looked dashing in a Black sherwani. His face was clean shaven and his lips
were stark red. "Strawberry gloss" Maan guessed. For a millisecond their eyes
met and then Brij looked past him at Geet who walked upto him and
congratulated him. Maan remained rooted to his spot.
Maan heard a round of 'oohs' and 'aahs' from a group of giggle girls standing next
to him. He felt his fist curl into a ball.
Brij picked up the garland and started walking towards the gals seated on chairs
in two rows. After taking two rounds...Brij held the hand of one gal. Maan couldn't
take it anymore....
"BRIIIIJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJ.................." His voice shattered the claps that had
begun. The girl faced Maan with a scared look on her face. It was Sasha
dressed like a gaudy hen! Tons of lipstick with layers of makeup....
Maan walked straight to Brij and helf the front of his kurta.
"You can't do this to us," his nostrils were flaring.
Brij eased away the grip..."Maan you have moved on with my sister. Let me move
on in life...."
"Yeh MOVE ON MOVE ON kya laga rakha hain. Is it the DMG effect???...there
was only MOVE IT MOVE IT between us. How can u take such a big step..."
"Maan...But you are gonna marry Geet soon. What do want me to do...Stalk u
for life? Stand at ur window every nights belting ballads???? While u blush like a
male Juliet on ur balcony?"
"Damn it Brij. I was trying to satisfy ma Dadi's wishes by getting engaged to
Geet. You are doubting ma love for you??? Didn't our nightly chiggy-wiggies
mean nuthing to you?"
"Errr...excuse me" Sasha tried to intervene!
"CHUUPPP OYEEEEE bhains ki hamshakal!" Brij glared at her.
"Hummmppp..." Sasha eyed them two with disgust and stomped off.
"Isi waqt hum shaadi karte hain..." Maan suggested.
Brij looked at him with a puppy expression. He was almost panting like scooby
doo who found a dog bone.
Maan ripped away his kurta and tossed it to the ground (OMG HAWT HAWT
ABS) Brij had a hard time trying to stop the pink from drowning his face. A
matchbox was handed to Maan who set the kurta on fire and flicked his finger
indicating the pandit to start his mantras.
The whole crowd looked in awe as Maan and Brij took the pheres around the
burn kurta....Shirtless Maan and dashing brij!!!!
Maan put the taveez around Brij and they had an extended eye-lock (Ankhon se
tune ke yeh kya keh diya...dil yeh deewana dhadakne laga.....)
"Main tumhe maaar daloongi..." Geet pushed Brimaan apart. Her face was wild
with fury. Her eyes were red and narrowed . She was looking savagely at Brij.
"Brijveerji...Main tumhe kaccha chabba jaungi..." she threatened.
"Woh tum mujhe pe chod do Geet. I have the legal rights now!" Maan winked at
Brij...who continued to turn pinker with each moment. STRAWBERRY effect!
"I will kill you..."Geet's hands reached Brij's neck in a firm killing grip. Maan
reacted immediately and pushed her away. He stood with his arms
outstretched....shielding Brij from a possessed Geet.
"Tum mera suhaag ujaad nahi sakti....." Maan melodramatically protested.
"Haan Geet...hum har maine mein ek dooje ke liye bane hain......"
Brij who had been dreaming about Maan seductively removing his rinds and all those blings he had chosen to wear...was feeling a tingling sensation behind his collar.
He was so ecstatic that Geet's face nad her words weren't registering in his brain. All he was worried about was whether they would reach home by night.....coz he didn't wanna waste a second more!
*Tan..Man...Dhan was all Maan's!* The agony of not being able to do what he wanted with Maan cause they were in the open was driving him crazy. He could tolerate it no more.
"Le chalo mujhe yahaan se Maan...Le chalo...." Brij pleaded.
A loud engine sound alerted them. Adi was sitting on a cherry red tractor and
signaling them to rush. BRIMAAN held hands and ran...jumped onto the tractor.
"ROMEO take me sumwhere we can be alone...
I'll be waiting all there's left to do is run
You'll be ma prince And I'll be your princess
It's a love story.....THADA SA HATKE SE!"
Maan gave one last look of apology to Geet..."Geet I so wish you were him...but
u ain't him...and I can chiggy wiggy only with him. Hope you understand!"
With that BRIMAAN disappeared out of sight....in a cloud of dust.
