STAR PROFILE-SANAYA IRANI!!!!

Innocent, pure, sweet…these are the words that pop-up in mind, when one looks at Sanaya Irani! This cute girl, also known as Gunjan by her fans from her latest TV show Miley Jab Hum Tum, is born on September 17, 1983 and brought up in Mumbai. She started her journey in the world of glamour and glitz as a model, however, pretty soon just light and camera were not enough for her! Sanaya wanted "light, camera, action..." all three together! She wanted to try acting!

Sanaya embarked on her voyage in acting with zeal and zest, but early on, to her dismay, she realized that she lacked the major skills required for the trade: any kind of acting background or training in acting and proper accent in Hindi – Sanaya studied in Ooty, India, where Hindi was not taught as a second language. Without getting disheartened and quitting, she took the challenge, worked hard on both the fronts; gained confidence and bagged good roles to essay. Her first role as Sameera in television show Left Right Left by SAB TV, gained her popularity with producers and audiences alike. After that, she worked in the TV show Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayegi, which led her to a major role in Miley Jab Hum Tum on Star One, where she essays the role of Gunjan, a girl who cries for every small little thing!

Sanaya has worked as Kajol's friend Bobo in Aamir Khan's hit movie Fanaa (2006). She has also worked with well known Gazal singer Jagjit Singh, on his famous song Tumko Dekha to Yeh Khayal Aaya. In the reality TV show Meethi Chhuri – Season 1, Sanaya participated as a contestant.

When it comes to personal life, Sanaya is completely different from Gunjan-her counterpart on the small screen. She is not a cry-baby at all. On the contrary, she is a very extrovert, out-going, fun-loving young girl. When asked by Tellycafe.com, Sanaya reportedly stated that at some point, she would get married and have two children, however, she was not clear, when. Although, she is very clear about one thing: her life-partner has to be a genuine and loyal guy, who should be a great cook, a masseur – ready to give a massage when needed, and on top of all these, has to be very attractive!
