Geet woke up to see Maan still sleeping. She was about to look at the time and the alarm went off.
Maan woke up with a little start and looked at Geet looking at the alarm clock and then at him..
Maan= Geet..?tumne alarm ko uthaya ya alarm ne tumhe?
Geet- I woke up before the alarm.
Maan- for the first and probably the last time.
They were both crabby with each other, not because of last night's conversation, but because they were going to be apart.
MAan- you're very happy today
Geet- of course I am, you are leaving me na
Maan- Geet.. I don't want to fight. What if I die in a planecrash and not come back ever?😲😉
Geet slapped him on the chest and said
Geet- If you ever say that..I'm going to make a minced maan pie out of you, samjhe?
Maan smiled
maan- And then, eat it?
Geet came closer
Geet- nahi. Feed it to your clients
i like meetha more than namkeen anyways
Maan- GEET😡
Geet pushed him into the bathroom
Geet- go..get ready now.. you'll be late
Smiling at the sullen expression on his face, she made sure she sent him to the bathroom before she went to the side drawer and took out a file that said

and added a note to it which said
" Decipher it.
love, your loving wife Geet"
Slipping it into his briefcase, she went and made tea for him so that Maan screaming her name from the bathroom she didn't hear
MAan- GEEET...GEEEET
Pata nahi kaahna chali gayi
tiptoeing out ,dripping wet with a towel around his waist, he chastised himself
Maan- ab kapde toh nikaalne chahiye the na..this Geet really makes me lose my mind. UFf...and it's so cold..no wonder she complaints of the effectiveness of the AC
His cell phone rang and he went to pick it up
Maan- ji dadima
Dadi- Maan aap kya kar rahe hain?
Maan- woh..uhh dadi..
Dadi- rehne dijiye. Breakfast ke liye aap aa rahe hain na?
MAan- uhh...
Dadi cut the phone
Dadi- humare pote itne distracted sirf ek hi wajha se ho sakte hain...
Maan- Focus Maan.
HE took off the towel and heard a crash
He spun around to see Geet looking at the tea mug and the tray
Maan - Geet?
Geet was finding it difficult to breathe, wondering what was wrong with him.
Geet- what is wrong with you? Will you just keep walking around like this ? Wear your clothes.
she had a dazed look about her..all she could notice were those glittering water drops on his collar-bone.without realizing what she was doing, she was there close to him to get a closer look
Intrigued, she touched a drop gently, and Maan shivered
Her luminous eyes were aglow with desire, their concentration fixed on the smooth and sensitive skin just below his neck.
She traced gently the region which seemed to be caught with fire for Maan...
Maan gripped her shoulders and made her look at him
Maan- Geet...
Geet- hmm..haan..woh...ab dekhiye na yeh mujhse kya karwaya aapne..
Breaking away, she was about to move away when he held her hand from behind..
He came closer and gently touched her neck..brought his mouth teasingly close to her ear and murmured,
Maan- so much tension here...
And he plced his hands on her shoulders and gently started to massage them- firm yet gentle hands, making circles, and causing uncontrollable sensations in her. Her eyes closed of their own accord and mind went blank except that sensation
Maan- hmm..that's it..let go of all tension..just relax..feel the touch..feel all of it
Geet- hmmm...if i do that, you will never reach for your meeting...
she opened her eyes with difficulty, still glazed with desire, she turned them to Maan's and not looking anywhere but in his eyes
Geet- C'mon..get dressed..we're going to the mansion for breakfast..say bye and go for your trip. You don't worry but I do..about you..so c'mon get dressed
Maan -wouldn't you like to dress me Geet?
Geet- aap chhote bachhe hain kya?
She hated herself for cracking such lame jokes when both were caught in so much desire, but she had to tell him..to show him something before this.
So she resisted. she hoped later he'd understand and making up will be extremely memorable.
So she went out of the room and to the mansion where she would be safe from the tiger that was Maan Singh Khurana.
She wen to Dadi who was surprised to see Geet flushed
Dadi- Geet..kya hua apko?
Geet- kuchh nahi dadima...bas thoda ajeeb lag raha hai.. I'm fine
Dadi- ajeeb lag raha hai?
Geet- kuchh nahi hai dadima..
Rajji came downstairs all hot and bothered..
Geet-tujhe kya hua?
Rajji- di..kuchh nahi. I was just working.
Geet- all okay na?
Rajji smiled..but it was a distracted smile..
SHe was missing Vicky..it had been a long time since they had openly talked..
MAan met Vicky while he was about to enter the mansion..a girl with him
Vicky- hi bhai
Maan- Hi vicky. Yeh to ...
Vicky- ji bro..yeh Misha hai...
Mehek- hello Maan :) Long time since we met
MAan- hmm..come in guys
They all went in together
Geet noticing Maan and immediately busying herself, while Rajji staring at Vicky and then at Misha
Misha was wearing a white dress and was very pretty...had applied only kajal and lip gloss, and she smiled at everyone.
Dadi- arre Misha, aayie..long time.
Mehek smiled back and then introduced herself..
Misha- Aap Bhabhi hain na? Vicky bohot bolte hain aapke baare mein..He really loves you..and you're so beautiful..no wonder Maan is smitten
Geet blushed and MAan looked at her
Geet- thank you..do join for breakfast
Rajji was unnoticed and glad about it..she sat down quietly..feeling lonely and yet glad..she didn't want attention right now
so this was why Vicky had become so distant..well..now that she knew, no point sulking about it..she will be happy,s o she made a conscious effort to smile around the table and be normal.
Somehow inside, she felt a pang
Of course not jealousy, she thought. she was jut missing Vicky..and why not? they were becoming very good friends before she got busy with her studies
MAan- Dadima..it's time. I think I should leave now.
Geet felt her eyes fill up and she looked up at maan..MAan gave her a small nod..and they walked out
Geet held Maan's hand and didn't look at him
MAan- MEri taraf dekhogi bhi nahi?
Geet just shook her head
Maan bent a little so that he could look into her eyes
and Geet looked up with a watery smile
Geet just moved into his arms
MAan- arre baba..do din ki baat hai..
Geet hugged him tighter
Maan- na jau kya?
Geet- jaana toh hoga hi na..zaroori hai..
jaldi aana..
MAan- jaise hi kaam khatam hua main aa jaunga my bachha..ab jaaun? chhodne chalna hai
Geet was crying by now..
Maan wiped her tears
Maan- achha..mat chalo..matt ro..please..u know na 'I hate tears'
Geet hiccuped a small laugh then..
Geet- jaaiye ab..
So he kissed her on her forehead and her neck..her lips, her nose, her hands and then went away after tracing her face with her hands...leaving it glowing with his love..
Inside..
Misha- Arre..bhabhi kahan gayi?
Rajji- Didi won't come back now. i'll go see her..
Vicky- I'll come with you
and without waiting for an answer he followed Rajji, feeling a little perplexed
They were so awkward..outside Geet was not to be seen
Vicky stopped Rajji by placing a hand on her arm
Rajji looked at the hand, and then at him
Rajji didn't say anything
Vicky- Bhabhi outhouse mein hongi..she needs to be alone.
Rajji- then why did you come?
Vicky- because I wanted to talk to you
Rajji- yeah?then talk
Vicky- tumhe Misha kaisi lagi?
Rajji- she's very beautiful. And really you both look very good together
She smiled, feeling a bit sad, but okay
Vicky- Good you liked her. I wanted you to meet her long ago..but mauka nahi mil raha tha and I didn't want you to be disturbed in your studies.
Rajji- good. I like her.
vicky- yes...she is..so do I..I really like her too..She understands me perfectly..
He looked at her a bit hopefully at that, a look she didn't catch and then it was gone.
Rajji- Go back inside, say sorry from my and di's side..I'll go to her now
Vicky smiled at her- okay..as you wish.
They walked off in opposite direction, more confused than ever.
Dadi and Misha were deep in conversation..and having a blast hanging out...
Misha smiled to herself thinking that finally she might get her wish...
