Laali's new relationship cud cast shadows over old one
Question: What is going to happen when Shekhar wakes up and finds his beloved Laali married to another man (And on top of that, she appears to be very happy in this new relationship.)
Shekhar-Laali's love had been so strong that despite everyone trying (Loha, Gangiya, Ranvijay, Siddheshwari, to some extent Ratna, and the society), no one had been able to make a dent in it.
Except twice … Shekhar's trust in Laali had faltered.
First: When Ranvijay had been found sleeping beside her on her wedding night. But Shekhar's love was stronger. After some soul-searching, he came back to her and offered his love to her again. Laali was probably humbled by that. (That was some shocker. I had thought he would likely throw her out of his life.)
Second: When Laali had confessed to killing Ratna (Shekhar's beloved sister). That ripped both of them apart. But Shekhar's unborn child brought them back together, and his mother's words that Laali was innocent.
And now … this third time … his Laali now living happily with another man.
1. How will his love and trust hold up now …
2. How can Laali prove her purity to him …(Will Laali want to? Dr. Shailen appears as nice a man as Shekhar.)
That is the thing. Shekhar will never have any proof … ever.
Sita went thru an agnipareeksha, right. There will be none of that here.
Shekhar will have to trust that Laali is telling him the truth.
That is the reason why it will always, ALWAYS cast a big shadow over their relationship if they come back together again.
The ball will be in Laali's court to prove her love to him, if she does really love him, and to regain his trust.
And Shekhar will have to accept Laali's word that she is telling him the truth.
