Very Interesting topic, money, well making money is a passion, it is indeed important, yes to what extent is important, earning the first lac is very diffcult and when you earn the first one, your desire changes, then you aspire for second, then third and the desire goes on and on,

Money may have not been important to a cave man , as he had limited needs ( and ofcourse money's concept wasn't invented). But in this modern age , when all basic needs and conforts can be bought only by money . Its one of the most important things.
