This is the last straw!
For the past few days a number of topics have been reported. They're either repeated posts, contain bashing, comparison topics or there is nothing wrong with them and certain group of members just want them to be closed.
Let me remind you that repeated posts, bashing, comparing etc. are not allowed on the forum. By now everyone is familar with the rules and we've reminded everyone time and time again and yet this still seems to be a problem.
Having the same content but just wording it differently/going into more detail does not mean that it's not a repeated post. It is because the content is similar.
Also, we've noticed in the threads that contain bashing, it was due to instigating posts. There is no need to instigate others and create a fight. If you don't agree with a thread then simply state your opinion and leave it at that instead of posting sarcastic remarks with the intent of angering other members. Instigating is also against the rules and those who do so will face the consequences but regardless of that, those who reply back to such posts also make matters worse. There is no need to reply back and take matters into your own hands. Just simply click the report button and continue the discussion while ignoring the instigating post.
Also, making side notes like " @ bashers" is the same as instigating because you're allowing others to reply back to you. There is no need to acknowledge those that are bashing. Ignoring them is good enough.
Another thing, if you don't agree with a post, don't report the post and giving an explanation that does not match the description. If you see a negative post on the forum, it doesn't mean that it's considered bashing. Members are allowed to post their opinions, positive or negative, provided that they follow I-F rules. A few members have complained about other members posting negative comments even though they don't watch the show. Even if they don't watch, they're allowed to post their opinion.
This all might sound repetitive but I can't help but to stress all this to you guys. Having said all that, this is a FINAL WARNING to all of you. We've been patient long enough and have reminded all of you about the rules and yet they're not being followed. From now on, failure to follow the rules of the forum will result in a raise in WL. There will be no more reminders sent to members. Enough is enough.
