freak is used by most as the replacement for the other F word. but actually the two does nt mean the same! my college friend use the other F word so frequently infact wear t shirts with the word n i use the word freak ... freak literally means a thing or occurrence that is markedly unusual or
irregular. its kinda an expression "oh no!" "freak" as such is not a word , it is a slang.
