according to wikipedia sangeeta is 40 years old, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sangeeta_Ghosh

I find this hard to belive, i read somewhere else that she was 34. She can't be older than shipla, she does look like a 30 year old but def not 40. Do you guys know her real age

Noo i think she is somewhere around 29 or so. she cant be 40. Wikipedia is nt realiable

thanks, stupid wikipedia. I was jsut wondering cuz i think her and siddesh will make a cute couple and he's like 25. 5 years difference is much better than 15!

last week or so i checked wikipidea, and then her age was 34, funny the way wikipidea data gets changed overnight
she is younger than or almost the same age as shilpa.
regd that, i need to point out, inspite of her age, she dances quite well, but shilpa and VM criticizes her at the first attempt, i wonder if they will be able to fo a full performance at a stretch like she does? i mean i have seen the bollywood stars doing stage shows in events like IIFA, they hardly dance, they just walk front and back and do some lifts and thats all

I agree with Tanni. I really liked her dance. I don't see why they needed to criticize it that much. Just because Shilpa gets several shots to do a "shut up and bounce step" does not make her one of the best dancers. Yeah agreed she was not that up to it the last few seconds, and that Aamir was definitely better in the end, but I seriously thought she was sometimes better than him in the beginning. I seriously like Arshad. He's a good judge. He gave them both same marks. Obviously they evened out. They both deserved same marks.

About her age, I don't know, she doesn't look that young. I guess 34 seems good really, though she looked lovely yesterday.

she should be around 40...she used to appear in a serial ..sansaar on doordarshan in early 90s....that time she must be at least 20 or 22...

thanks buddy for agreeing with me. aamir no doubt is a good performer but i thought shilpa and Vm were a tad biased towards him. infact i thought sangeeta had a little edge over aamir ,i felt she was sexier and appealing and that tune was like that only,and amir was stiff. but then again, i am more familier with classical . but i should say something, for someone in her mid 30s, its quite difficult to match up with energy level of people in their 20s,i would very much like to see shilpa or VM doing that in one take,
@vedika: sangeeta is def over 30, she is close to varun and rajeswari , but yeah she isnt 40 yet.

another funny thing: ayush called sangeeta aunty, but shilpa and Vm he called didi, smart guy
